Dondozo is a niche Pokemon used on stall, where its great physical bulk in combination with Unaware allows it to stomach many hits from powerful physical attackers such as Extreme Killer Arceus, Koraidon, Zacian-C, Calyrex-I, and Dragon Dance Arceus-Ground. However, due to its incredibly passive nature and unreliable recovery in Rest, further shut off by Miraidon's Hadron Engine and Taunt users like Landorus-T, Arceus, and Arceus-Ground, it is prone to being weakened throughout a game. Furthermore, Skeledirge, another common stall Pokemon, frequently competes with Dondozo for a team slot, due to playing a similar role and having a means of reliable recovery in Slack Off.

[SET COMMENTS]
Avalanche provides Dondozo a method to hit Pokemon such as Koraidon and Tera Flying Ho-Oh. Fissure makes Dondozo much less passive, allowing it to hit defensive Arceus formes like Arceus-Fairy and Arceus-Water while simultaneously deterring Miraidon from switching in, as well as being much more useful against Taunt Arceus formes. While unreliable and shut off by Miraidon's Hadron Engine, Rest is Dondozo's only method of healing. Sleep Talk prevents Pokemon from exploiting Dondozo throughout the time that it is asleep, while also giving Dondozo a chance to pull Fissure even after it runs out of PP. Tera Fairy provides Dondozo an immunity to Dragon-type moves, specifically Koraidon's Scale Shot and Outrage and Eternatus’s Dynamax Cannon, while also giving Dondozo a resistance to Fighting-type attacks like Koraidon's Low Kick. However, Tera Fairy leaves Dondozo vulnerable to Steel-type attacks like Necrozma-DM’s Sunsteel Strike and Zacian-C’s Behemoth Blade. Tera Flying also gives Dondozo the same resistance to Fighting-type moves, while also allowing Dondozo to use Rest while Electric Terrain is active. Tera Electric provides Dondozo a resistance to Zacian-C's Wild Charge and Ho-Oh's Brave Bird.

Teammates like Gliscor and Blissey appreciate Dondozo's presence as a fallback option when powerful setup Pokemon like Swords Dance Arceus and Swords Dance Koraidon threaten a sweep. Although very bulky on the physical side, Dondozo's poor special bulk and bad matchups against the tier's most popular special attackers in Miraidon, Calyrex-S, and Kyogre render it extremely vulnerable to their attacks. Therefore, specially defensive teammates like Blissey, Clodsire, and Tera Grass Ho-Oh are excellent teammates for Dondozo, as they help deal with powerful physical attacking threats while they help deal with powerful special attackers. Alomomola is also an excellent teammate for Dondozo, as Alomomola helps take a lot of pressure off of it by providing wish support, also giving Dondozo a method of healing while Electric Terrain is active. Additionally, Gliscor is also a great teammate for Dondozo due to its ability to absorb Knock Off from Pokemon like Muk-Alola, Mandibuzz, Necrozma-DM, and opposing Gliscor which could otherwise significantly cripple Dondozo. Muk-Alola also works very well with Dondozo, due to being one of the only reliable Calyrex-S checks, and Garganacl is also helpful when Dondozo is dealing with Tera Flying Ho-Oh.

Other Options

Curse can be used as an alternative to Fissure to better handle threats such as Scale Shot Koraidon and Necrozma-DM, but it isn't preferred due to making Dondozo much more passive. Body Press is also an alternative to Fissure, as it helps against Taunt Arceus as well as being more consistent than Fissure, but suffers the same issues as Curse in being far too passive.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Attackers**: Special Attackers like Miraidon, Calyrex-S, and Kyogre threaten Dondozo with significant damage due to its poor Special Defense. Miraidon’s Electro Drift, Calyrex-S’s Grass Knot, and Kyogre’s Thunder or Origin Pulse either OHKO or cripple Dondozo to a point where it is no longer effective in checking physical attackers.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users like Extreme Killer Arceus and Landorus-T shut down Dondozo's only means of recovery in Rest, which can help slowly wear it down in addition to chip damage.-

**Knock Off Users**: Knock Off users like Necrozma-DM and Gliscor can stop Dondozo from repeatedly switching in when combined with hazards.

**Necrozma-DM**: Necrozma-DM’s Photon Geyser, when boosted by Swords Dance or Dragon Dance, ignores Unaware and easily blasts through Dondozo's defenses.

However, due to its incredibly passive nature and unreliable recovery in Rest, further shut off by Miraidon's Hadron Engine and Taunt users (mention examples like landot, arc, groundy), it is prone to being weakened throughout a game. Furthermore, Skeledirge, another common stall Pokemon, frequently competes with Dondozo for a team slot, due to playing a similar role and having a means of reliable recovery in Slack Off rest.

Dondozo is a physically defensive wall used on stall teams. Avalanche provides Dondozo a method to hit Pokemon such as Koraidon, Landorus-T (idk if hitting landot is impactful, esp when it has helm to chip dozo + taunt to block rest), and Miraidon, switching in (avalanche is mainly for hitting back korai when it hits dozo, so talking about mirai switching in is pretty contradictory, you'd run eq for that or click fissure). Fissure makes Dondozo much less more passive, allowing it to hit defensive Arceus-formes like Arceus-Fairy and Arceus-Water while simultaneously preventing threats such as Calm Mind Miraidon from using it as setup-fodder (why would you ever stay on mirai w dozo to fissure? just saying it deters mirai from switching in freely is good enough, and i'd mention not becoming taunt bait vs arc and groundy is pretty cool). While unreliable and shut off by Miraidon's Hadron Engine, Rest is Dondozo's only method of healing. Sleep Talk prevents Pokemon from exploiting Dondozo while asleep. (mention sleep talk still letting you use fissure after it runs out of pp) Tera Fairy provides Dondozo an immunity to Dragon-type moves, specifically Koraidon's Scale Shot and Outrage, while also giving Dondozo a resistance to Fighting-type attacks like Zacian-C's Close Combat and (cc mention is weird because you become weak to bblade and that's just as much as used as bblade) Koraidon's Low Kick. (mention tera flying and electric, flying notably helps vs mirai's eterrain and gives low kick resistance, and electric is good against tera electric zac's wild charge and hooh's brave bird. mention tera fairy leaving you weak to steel-type attacks from zac-c and ndm)

More passive teammates, usually found on Dondozo's teams, like Gliscor and Blissey, appreciate Dondozo's presence as a fallback option when powerful setup Pokemon they can't significantly affect threaten a sweep. (this entire line should be reworded at the minimum, not very clear what you're trying to say. "on stall teams it's an insurance helping glisc hooh etc vs sd glisc sd arc etc". gives a clear idea) Although physically defensive, Gliscor struggles with Zacian-C and Setup Koraidon sets in particular, and Dondozo is great at dealing with them. (what i just said before covers this, try to word it in a more simple way. also mention gliscor absorbing knock off from ndm and opposing glisc) Although very bulky on the physical side, Dondozo's poor special bulk and bad matchups against the tier's most popular special attackers in Miraidon, and Calyrex-S, and Kyogre render it extremely vulnerable to their attacks. Therefore, specially defensive teammates like Blissey, Clodsire, and Tera Grass Ho-Oh are excellent teammates for Dondozo, as they complement Dondozo's strengths and weaknesses exceptionally. (doesn't add anything useful. mention how dozo takes on threatening physical attackers like koraidon ekiller groundy, etc. for them; also add mola for providing wish support + taking pressure off it vs heavy hitters esp korai cuz that 3hkoes dozo, also wish provides some respite vs eterrain)

Curse can be used as an alternative to Fissure Sleep Talk to better handle threats such as Scale Shot Koraidon, but it isn't preferred due to making Dondozo much more passive and being useful versus physical setup sweepers only vulnerable to exploitation while using Rest. Dondozo could also use Tera Ghost to provide immunity to Koraidon's Fighting-type attacks, but lacking the immunity to Dragon-type moves usually makes this option worse than Tera Fairy. Furthermore, Dondozo using Tera Ghost almost strictly outclasses Skeledirge, whose base typing includes Ghost. (never seen tera ghost nor see the point in using it. could mention body press being helpful vs taunt arceus and more consistent at that than fissure)

**Miraidon**: Miraidon’s Electro Drift guarantees an OHKOes on Dondozo, and its Hadron Engine ability disables Rest, Dondozo’s only healing method. However, it needs to be wary of Fissure as well as taking damage from Avalanche while switching in.

**Calyrex-S**: Calyrex-S's strong Special Attack stat combined with a super-effective Grass Knot can threaten great damage to Dondozo. (if you wanna mention calys then should mention special attackers in general, cuz ogre arc-fairy spa groundy are all threatening to do a lot of damage to dozo)

**Taunt Users** Taunt users like Extreme Killer Arceus shut down Dondozo's only means of recovery in Rest, which can help slowly wear it down in addition to chip damage.

(Mention Dondozo being vulnerable to Knock Off from Necrozma-DM and Gliscor which stops dozo from repeatedly switching in as it gets chipped by hazards. also wanna mention somewhere how SD/DD NDM can just ignore unaware with photon geyser)

(extra full stop here) While unreliable and shut off by Miraidon's Hadron Engine, Rest is Dondozo's only method of healing. Sleep Talk prevents Pokemon from exploiting Dondozo while when it is to avoid repetition of "while" asleep, while also giving Dondozo a chance to pull Fissure even after it runs out of PP. Could mention Alolan-Muk as a Knock Off user or just mention Gliscor, but your call and opposing gliscor Gliscor which could otherwise significantly cripple Dondozo. not much to be really said, but I think you could mention Alolan-Muk somewhere and say that it helps deal with Caly-S. I also think Garg could be mentioned somewhere for offensive Ho-Oh (Tera Flying)

Curse can be used as an alternative to Fissure to better handle threats such as Scale Shot Koraidon I think curse would also help versus NDM for what its worth, but it isn't preferred due to making Dondozo much more passive and only useful against physical sweepers. didn't get this line tbh. even if it doesn't carry Curse and runs Fissure, its still quite poor into Special Attackers. (DM me if you meant something else) Body Press is also an alternative to Fissure, as it helps against Taunt Arceus and is slightly more consistent, but has the same issues as Curse in being far too passive.

you should mention Caly-S and Kyogre here as well. I think just a threat of - "Special Attackrs" should suffice, which would include Mirai, Kyogre, and Caly-S.
