[SET COMMENTS]
Imposter Chansey is one of the most effective utility Pokemon due to its ability to scout the opponent's sets in a metagame where every move is a possibility. Instantly copying the opponent's typing, stats, boosts, and movepool while retaining its massive 250 base HP and the defensive boost from Eviolite forces the opponent to face a much bulkier version of the set they built themselves. Scouting is Chansey's main utility, as this can help the player identify weaknesses in the opponent's team and potentially use their own strategy against them. Eviolite is generally the preferred item to give Chansey truly titanic bulk and retain the ability to switch moves, but Choice Scarf is another option to avoid Speed ties; this is especially important against offensive sweepers with Shell Smash, Spore, or Dark Void, as Chansey may not be able to recover from losing the Speed tie. Chansey's own moveset comes into play when it is switched in on a Pokemon behind a Substitute, with Illusion active, or that is an already-transformed Imposter user. Whirlwind forces the opposing Pokemon out, potentially disrupting a Substitute + Baton Pass user's support. Lunar Dance is a great option to retain momentum when Chansey is weakened, as Chansey excels on offensive teams that don't mind sacrificing Chansey to heal a severely damaged offensive teammate. Parting Shot allows Chansey to retain momentum while also weakening offensive opponents switching into Chansey. Spikes allows Chansey to set entry hazards when Chansey has a free turn; it also synergizes well with teammates running Stealth Rock. Wish takes advantage of Chansey's titanic HP to nearly fully heal teammates; alternatively, (comma) Recover is a strong option on Eviolite sets for more reliable recovery, as Chansey is prone to getting worn down by boosted threats.

Due to its amazing utility in checking opposing sweepers, Imposter Chansey fits on nearly every team, though it excels on offense in particular. However, it requires some support to effectively scout and make progress. First, in order to switch in without risking being trapped and eliminated, Chansey requires teammates that can bring it in with a slow pivoting move such as Baton Pass Wonder Guard Mega Audino, Blissey, and Escavalier. Additionally, because Chansey's main utility activates on switch, Defog support from a teammate allows it to more easily come in and out without getting worn down by entry hazards; as such, Wonder Guard users that often carry Defog like Arceus and Primal Kyogre are good partners for Chansey. Chansey also requires a teammate that can switch into Knock Off, as it is heavily reliant on its item. Wonder Guard Pokemon that are not weak to Dark and work well on offensive teams, like Xerneas and Wonder Guard Gyarados, can easily switch into Knock Off for Chansey. Finally, -ate Speed users like Pixilate Mega Diancie and Refrigerate Kyurem-B excel at defeating sweepers that Imposter-proof themselves against Chansey like Mold Breaker Mega Gengar.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
==========

Blissey is an option over Chansey for sets that forgo Eviolite, but revealing that your Imposter user is running an item other than Eviolite, like Choice Scarf, generally is not worth the slight increase in HP. Shed Shell allows Chansey to escape traps that utilize Shadow Tag or trapping moves like Thousand Waves. In order to have a greater chance of beating an Imposter-proofed sweeper, which usually rely on Judgement, Chansey can run a Plate. Iron Plate allows it to beat Wonder Guard Xerneas, Spooky Plate counters Mold Breaker Mega Gengar, and Pixie Plate provides Fairy Judgment against Mold Breaker Mega Diancie.

Checks and Counters
==========

**Imposter-proofed Sweepers**: Some sweepers, like Mega Gengar, Mega Diancie, Arceus, and Dialga, may run sets that can't be effectively copied by Chansey, allowing for safe setup Judgement is a common Imposter-proofing move, as it requires a Plate to change type, and can be used to prevent Chansey from checking the sweeper. Additionally, sweepers behind a Substitute, typically through Substitute + Baton Pass support, prevents Imposter from activating and are problematic if Chansey is the only revenge killer on its team.

**Imposter-proofed Utility**: Some utility Pokemon aim to trap and eliminate Chansey with Shadow Tag, such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Mewtwo X. However, Choice Scarf Chansey that has already copied a boosted Shell Smash sweeper will usually outspeed said Shadow Tag users , making counterplay through trapping shaky at best.

Imposter Chansey takes the spot as the most effective utility Pokemon in Gen 6 Pure Hackmons due to its ability to de-mystify the opponent's sets in a metagame where every move is a possibility. Instantly copying your opponent's typing, stats, boosts, and movepool while retaining its high Massive 250 base stat HP and eviolite defensive boost forces the opponent to face a stronger version of the set they built themselves. The process of learning your opponent's team and moves from the inside, known as scouting, is Chansey's main utility, as this can help the player identify weaknesses in the opponent's team as well as having the potential to use their own strategy against them. While an Eviolite imposter would speed tie with any offensive Pokemon it comes in to face, a Choice Scarfed Imposter guarantees that your Pokemon will outspeed, unless the opponent's Pokemon is also carrying a choice scarf. This can be effective for copying boosted or offensive Pokemon that may threaten a sweep. Shed Shell doesn't offer any extra defensive or offensive utility, but it guarantees that Chansey would be able to switch out in the event of a trapping Imposter proof method. Somewhere in here mention more about revenge sweeping maybe something like "With a choice scarf it allows Chansey to outspeed opponent you have transformed into and revenge kill or revenge sweep". I will let you add your own words here but I think it's a big thing and a key point to mention about Chansey.

Chansey's own moveset comes into play when it is switched in on a Pokemon behind a Substitute, Illusion or another Imposter mon. Somewhere in here should be a small mention about the illusion pokemon. Whirlwind switches the opponent's Pokemon out at random, giving Chansey the opportunity to maximize its momentum by forcing the Opponent to switch or attack with a sub-par move. Parting shot instantly ejects Chansey from the battlefield, allowing the user to gain the offensive advantage. Stealth Rock and Spikes allow Chansey to start setting up hazards in the down time while your opponent is strugging to gain momentum again. Wish It should be noted that the moves in Chansey's moveset should not be relied upon, as there are only conditional situations where they would be allowed to be used. While Wish and hazards are noted in Chansey's moveset they should not be relied upon due to their situational usage. Because of this, Chansey should not take the spot as the only hazard setter or Wish passer on your team, if those roles are needed.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Some sets may opt to completely ditch Chansey if not running eviolite, and run blissey instead due to its marginally higher HP. While this may be more effective because of Blissey's higher stats, using Blissey instead removes the option of bluffing the idea that you may be running one of the other items.Not entirely sure but perhaps add more parallels/comparisons to Blissey in the main set. I suppose we are only gonna write one analysis for Chansey/Blissey then as well. Also maybe add something about plates and their rare niches.

Transform may be used in order to manually trigger Chansey's ability in the case that Imposter is blocked and the opponent switches out.
The majority of the time you are in front of a sub or another imposter so transform IMO is extremely fringe and nearly never worth using.
Chansey may also be used as a bulky special wall with abilities such as Wonder Guard, Prankster, or Magic Bounce, giving up its prowess as an Imposter and instead using its high Massive HP and natural Special Defense. This feels like a weird line but not sure what to do about it. Maybe other sets for these can be added in the future?.

Checks and Counters
==========

**Imposter Proofed Sweepers** Some sweepers like Gengar-Mega may run sets that can't be effectively copied by imposters, leading to a loss of momentum or even the imposter. Moves like Judgment change type depending on the held plate, and can be used so that Chansey can't do damage back to a sweeper if it is copied.

**Imposter Proofed Utility** Some utility Pokemon aims to trap and eliminate Imposters through trapping such as Shadow Tag, Thousand Waves, or Spider Web. These can easily be avoided by equipping Shed Shell, but you lose the utility that Eviolite or Choice Scarf provides.

the only possible thing I can think of is to mention substitute here if you think that's needed.

[SET COMMENTS]
Imposter Chansey takes the spot as one of the most effective you're probably going to disagree but imo gira edges chansey out, calling chansey one of the best seems more appropriate utility Pokemon in Gen 6 Pure Hackmons due to its ability to de-mystify the opponent's sets in a metagame where every move is a possibility. Instantly copying your the opponent's typing, stats, boosts, and movepool while retaining its massive 250 base HP and eviolite the defensive boost from Eviolite forces the opponent to face a stronger much bulkier version dont think stronger is the right word here of the set they built themselves. The process of learning the opponent's team and moves from the inside, known as scouting, is Chansey's main utility, as this can help the player identify weaknesses in the opponent's team as well as having the potential to use their own strategy against them. While an Eviolite imposter would speed tie with any offensive Pokemon it comes in to face, a Choice Scarf guarantees that your the user's Imposter will outspeed, unless the opponent's Pokemon is also carrying a Choice Scarf. This can be effective for copying boosted or offensive Pokemon that may threaten a to sweep, especially Mold Breaker users using Shell Smash to boost their offenses and speed significantly while disrupting defensive counterplay with Dark Void or Spore. With a Choice Scarf, Chansey is able to outspeed the opponent that you have transformed into and revenge kill it. Shed Shell doesn't offer any extra defensive or offensive utility, but it guarantees that Chansey would be able to switch out in the event of a trapping Imposter proof method. imo put this in other options, it's definitely worth a mention there but 95% of the time a healthy boosted scarf chansey won't be removed by stag Chansey's own moveset comes into play when it is switched in on a Pokemon behind a Substitute, Illusion, or another Imposter mon user. Whirlwind switches the opponent's forces the opposing Pokemon out at random, potentially disrupting Substitute + Baton Pass users' support. giving Chansey the opportunity to maximize its momentum by forcing the Opponent to switch or attack with a sub-par move. this seems unnecessary Lunar Dance is a great option to retain momentum when Chansey is weakened, as Chansey excels on offensive teams that don't mind sacking Chansey to heal a severely damaged offensive teammate. i might've missed something, you know offense better than i do Parting sShot instantly ejects Chansey from the battlefield, allowings the user to gain the offensive advantage retain momentum, while also weakening offensive opponents switching into Chansey. Stealth Rock and Spikes allows Chansey to start setting up hazards in the down time while the opponent is strugging to gain momentum again when momentum is on the Chansey user's side; it also synergizes well with teammates running Stealth Rock, as hazards can be stacked. this wording might be weird, you can change it if you want While Wish and hazards are noted in Chansey's moveset they should not be relied upon due to their situational usage. Because of this, Chansey should not take the spot as the only hazard setter or Wish passer on the team if those roles are needed. Wish takes advantage of Chansey's titanic HP stat to nearly fully heal teammates if the move's effect is successfully passed; alternatively Recover is a strong option on Eviolite sets that heals Chansey itself, as Chansey doesn't get many chances to heal itself over the course of a game, and thus can be worn down, especially if it tries switching directly into boosted threats. not fully sure about the getting worn down part but i think it's worth a mention

Due to its intense amazing utility in preventing careless setup due to the threat of a countersweep, Imposter Chansey fits on nearly every Pure Hackmons team, though it excels on offense in particular. chansey's too hard to fit on fat balances imo However, it requires general support to effectively scout and make progress as an Imposter. First, in order to switch in without risking being trapped and eliminated, Chansey requires slow pivot teammates such as Baton Pass Wonder Guard Mega Audino, Blissey, or U-turn Prankster Mega Slowbro Escavalier. prank slowbro doesnt exist Additionally, because Chansey's main utility activates on switch, Hazard clearing like in Defog and Rapid Spin neither does spin allows it to more easily come in and out without getting punished from constant hazard chip. These moves are commonly used by; as such, Wonder Guard users like Arceus or Primal Kyogre are good partners to Chansey. Finally, a Knock Off absorber is a useful teammate for Chansey due to the incredible benefits it gains from keeping its items.: Losing Eviolite results in a massive loss of bulk, and losing Choice Scarf means that Chansey risks speed-tying the opposing Pokemon on every turn. Wonder Guard Pokemon not weak to Dark and work well on offenses, like Xerneas and Mega Stone holders like Wonder Guard Gyarados, aren't afraid to switch into Knock Offs, proving themselves to be valuable allies to Chansey. mention -ates as great secondary revenge-killers that can deal with mons that wgs/chansey can't really deal with like gar, mold breaker diancie, arc, even like band/specs ray to an extent

there are some moves that would be nice to mention here, like rocks/tspikes/webs, chatter and perish song as well as shed shell/possibly even lucky punch being usable alternative items for chansey like you mentioned w plates below

In order to have a greater chance of beating an Imposter-proofed sweeper, some Imposter sets opt to run a plate to gain a typed Judgment. Some examples include using Iron Plate to gain a Steel Judgment when copying Wonder Guard Xerneas, and a Spooky Plate to gain a Ghost Judgment when copying Mold Breaker Gengar.

Moves like Judgment change type depending on the held plate, and can be used so that Chansey can't do damage back to a sweeper if it is copied. Additionally, setup sweepers that run substitute can't be Impostered by Chansey, effectively rendering the ability useless sweepers behind a Substitute, typically through SubPass support, prevents Chansey from Transforming into it, and are problematic if Chansey is the only revenge killer on its team. sub setup sweepers are fringe in a meta where prankster is huge + sweepers frequently struggle with 4mss

**Imposter Proofed Utility** Some utility Pokemon aim to trap and eliminate Imposters through trapping such as Shadow Tag, Thousand Waves, or Spider Web. no good team relies on waves/spider web to beat chansey , such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Mewtwo X. These can easily be avoided by equipping Shed Shell, but you lose the utility that Eviolite or Choice Scarf provide. shed shell in oo means it probably isn't worth a mention here However, Choice Scarf Chansey Transformed into a boosted Shell Smash sweeper will usually outspeed said Shadow Tag users after a boost, making counterplay through trapping shaky at best when paired with a Shell Smash sweeper that's not properly Imposter-proofed.
