[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to Silvally-Water's solid defensive typing and great BoltBeam coverage, it is a special attacker in ZU. Thunderbolt is great at targeting opposing Water-types such as Qwilfish, Poliwrath, and Cramorant. Ice beam strikes Grass-types such as Tangela, Thwackey, and Gourgeist-S hard. Flamethrower can be used to hit Klinklang harder while still targeting the aforementioned Grass-types, but it leaves Silvally-Water unable to hit Altaria hard. U-turn allows Sivally-Water to pivot out of unfavorable matchups such as Articuno, Clefairy, and Type: Null while retaining momentum.
Silvally-Water fits well on bulky offense and balance teams looking for a Water-type that provides bulk while also keeping up pressure and momentum. It also fits within VoltTurn cores, so staples such as Uxie, Rotom, and Thwackey work as great partners to help chip down the opposing team. Strong physical wallbreakers such as Lycanroc-N, Klinklang, and Sawk also work well as teammates, taking advantage of Silvally-Water's pivoting on special walls such as Articuno, Clefairy, and Type: Null. As Silvally-Water is vulnerable to faster Electric- and Grass-type attacks, Eject Pack Appletun can help cover them while keeping up momentum. Further switch-ins to Grass-types include Rapidash, Tangela, and Altaria with Rhydon, Stunfisk, and Manectric being switch-ins for Electric-types.

Other Options
=============
Defog can be used on teams that lack entry hazard removal, as Silvally-Water has nice natural bulk and a good defensive typing. However, it is often not recommended due to Silvally-Water not having any form of reliable recovery and being unable to run Heavy-Duty Boots. Pairing Silvally-Water with a grounded Poison-type can help reduce the weakness to Toxic Spikes. A mixed Work Up set with Multi-Attack can be used to help break through special walls such as Articuno, Clefairy, and Type: Null, which Silvally-Water usually pivots on.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Electric-types**: Manectric, Morpeko, and Choice Scarf Rotom all outspeed and can threaten Silvally-Water with their STAB attacks. They all need to be wary to switching in, however, due to their frail nature.
**Grass-types**: Thwackey's priority Grassy Glide and Power Whip from Gourgeist-S can outspeed and threaten Silvally-Water. Both need to be cautious of switching into Ice Beam, as it can OHKO with Stealth Rock damage.
**Special Walls**: Articuno, Clefairy, and Type: Null can all switch into Sivally-Water's attacks with ease and can pivot out into the aforementioned Grass- and Electric-type checks. They can also stall Silvally-Water out with Toxic and recovery moves.
