I wanted to build a team that could abuse Zacian-Crowned so I paired it with Gothitelle who can easily trap Zacian-C's main "counter", Necrozma-Dusk-Mane (and to some extent Quagsire). I then opted for Necrozma-Dusk-Mane with Earthquake and Thunder Wave to have an answer to opposing Zacian-C. Its Speed EVs enable it to outspeed Adamant paralyzed Zacian-C. Then I put Yveltal with 0 investment in speed and a lot of SpD investment to have the slowest possible U-Turn. This helps in trapping Eternatus without taking too much damage on Yveltal. Snarl is obviously there for Calyrex-S subseed. Eternatus naturally came as the main (and only) Kyogre check thanks to Mystical Fire, Recover, and Toxic. Finally, I added Lunala since my team was really weak to both Groudon and Zekrom: its speed EVs enable it to outspeed those two and burn them with WoW and threaten them with a powerful Hex. I put Hex over Ice Beam because I think Roar + WoW is enough for a potential Sub DD Zygarde.

Rejected, while the team structure is good, it is not meaningfully different enough from the current Gothitelle sample team to warrant inclusion. While Lunala > Buzzwole offers a better Zekrom match up, it greatly worsens the Marshadow match up, especially with the Yveltal set, as Snarl + U-Turn means that Yveltal lacks a move to deal meaningful damage. Additionally, as both Zacian-Crowned and Necrozma-Dusk-Mane lack a move than can OHKO Xerneas, a late game GeoXern can pose an issue.

Why not I'm back lol

https://pokepast.es/a7051633ee537339 - Mitch McConnell v2, deleted my other submission because I think this is better--a little less passive and a little more annoying vs. offense: more Knock Off users, a bit more reliable paraspam, and double Regenerator promotes the bulky offense style. The drawback is weaker against Calyrex-Ice, but the rest is fine. I won't go too crazy with explanations.

Eternatus - same exact spread, very standard with speed for Marsh, please ban Goth so I don't need Dragon Tail :)
Yveltal - changed to U-Turn > Foul Play since Tangrowth handles Groudon, same EVs
Zekrom/Mitch - the exact same, spread is so Sub takes +1 Knock from Ferro, +1 outspeeds Specs Caly
NDM - Earthquake for Zekrom wasn't necessary with Tangrowth, so I prefer Knock Off now
Tangrowth - Standard with SpAtk for Max HP Zygarde-Complete's sub
Ho-Oh - Biggest change, re-optimized to take 2 banded Play Rough's from Zac-H, outspeed some Goth variants, with enough SpDef to improve the pivoting for Yveltal

Fairy Spam

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Thunder Wave

Best Girl (Zacian) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intrepid Sword
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Wild Charge

Eternatus @ Black Sludge
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 228 SpD / 28 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dynamax Cannon
- Recover
- Mystical Fire
- Toxic

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Moonlight
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock

Yveltal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Roost
- Defog

This team excells at keeping an offensive prescence versus the oponent by its core double fairy that pressure the steel types that are used to counter them. The easiest example is Zacian breaking ndm by using crunch leaving an entry point for Xerneas to sweep the team.

Yveltal slow u turn falicitates the offensive momentum of the team afterall the negative speed allows to uturn slower than opposing yveltal, plus the 2 birds (Ho-Oh, Yveltal) make a Caly-s sweep hard specially with easily pivoting around trick by having 2 special sponges

Sadly the team is weak to groudon but with careful play it can defeat most variants of groudon the most difficult being double dance

This team's core is Calyrex-shadow and Zacian-Hero. They are able to revenge kill each other's checks along side zekrom who is a late game cleaner here. Necrozma can be used when 2 pokemon of opponent are down and you're having a tough time. Ferrothorn is here to absorb leech seed and plant it's own. knock off and stealth rock for Ho-oh. Yveltal for obvious reasons. This team is great in Middle Ladder but I don't know about high ladder because I haven't reached there yet.

This team requires no introduction its a very simple but effective offensive team that uses goths abilities to trap NDM or Eternatus to benefit both Caly and Zacian, the evs on zacian are specially evd to outspeed defensive Eternatus but one can instead use a spread that reahces 350 speed if you believe marsh is a bigger threat. The invested bulk allows Zacian to live an Astral from Caly in a pinch. Eterna has Mystical Fire to not allow xern to set up in its face plus it allows to slow down a CM ogre set up and helps you pivot to things that can threaten it out. Trick nastyplot con caly rex allows Caly to be able to sweep weakened teams that their yvel being crippled with trick cant sucker

(Fixed the set on NDM to the correct one)

:ss/shuckle: :ss/zekrom: :ss/necrozma-dusk-mane: :ss/yveltal: :ss/Xerneas: :ss/eternatus:

Was originally planning on keeping this secret till I lost winter seasonal but I may as well flaunt the team. Managed to get a pretty decent webs offense that got me to top 50 (top 60 with ladder decay, still a good rank.)
Webs are pretty good right now due to the fact that the Pokémon that commonly remove them, Ho-Oh and Yveltal, are very easy to take down, especially with this team. Bear in mind that basically every offensive Pokémon on this team could scare out the birds in some way, this keeping Webs up and by default, the main gear that makes these teams tick. Shuckle is by far the best Webber in the meta, and Custap berry is especially nice for greeding hazards and pulling off bullshit like encoring a NP calyrex turn 1. You can really do whatever item but I found Custap the most useful item to keep momentum. DD Zekrom is a destructive breaker on webs, with magnet rise to sit on Groudon/EQ defensive NDM. Xerneas is a simple Geomancy set, with Focus Blast to shred Ferrothorn and more power vs NDM should you feel particularly lucky. Yveltal and NDM are mostly mandatory for fucking over foggers with Taunt and +1 Edge respectively, and also cover the demons of the metagame, Calyrex-S and fairies. Finally, Eternatus can prove as an early-game wall breaker or an offensive cleaner after its teammates break the walls for it.

The team will struggle against things like Calyrex-Shadow, who’s enemy number one for the majority of offenses regardless, because of its inane speed tier, and the fact that most offenses can’t carry Spdef Yveltal cause they’ll ease on the gas. Speaking of Calyrex, it’s rather underappreciated icy counterpart deserves a mention as well, because of its inane breaking prowess and the fact that it isn’t outspending most things anyway, so webs hardly bother it. Groudon’s dangerous but get going before it gets going, and you’ll be just fine. You could always just lock it in with Encore as well. Always works. Xerneas poses a threat as well, but like most offenses, you have a way out. Fortunately, most of the 5 can either blast it into range before it sets up for sucker punch (Zekrom and Xerneas) bash it in with their own stabs (Eternatus and NDM) encore it (Shuckle) or just prevent it from clicking Geomancy outright (Yveltal).

Anyway, great team, very easy to mess around with and should be a breath of fresh air with most of the balance structures running around.

Never submitted a sample before so might as well throw this one down. A bit of an unorthodox one, but Trick Room has its place. Hatterene pretty much guarantees TR gets up and booms to get a teammate in and start bringing the pressure. The rest of the team uses its ability to check threats to re-up on TR. Basic rundown not including Hat.

https://pokepast.es/2bf04e72032095ed

Porygon2- It does almost nothing but up on TR and check Caly. It can serve as a stopgap to other threats as well, such as Zygarde and loosely patches up this teams glaring Zekrom weakness. Your course of action is usually finding your way in on something, upping TR and teleporting.

Magearna- Main switch to Xerneas and Yvel. Pretty self-explanatory, it gets in on one of them and can pick up a KO, or up TR before volt switching on a hard switch or even calm minding to blow past things it usually can't. Though Calm Mind can be subbed for Pain Split, which also has its own applications. It and P2 make up the more passive end of this team. The rest are strong, hard hitters.

Dracovish- A TR mainstay. This is the only member of the team without TR so it's a bit trickier to get into position without taking a good but of damage(besides on kyogre), but its payoff is immense. Vish is by far the hardest hitter on the team. The only common mon that can really stand to take a hit and fire back is Eternatus, but even Etern can't switch into it under TR because it's 2HKO'd. Max bulk NDM can as well but really doesn't do anything to Vish in return. It is also 2HKO'd. After that, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina give it the most trouble by far, but they're all fairly well handled by this team save Palk who does, admittedly, give this team a good bit of trouble. This guy overall though is going to be your hardest hitter. It won't be super uncommon for it to hit the field and have 2 or 3 mons go down.

Calyrex-Ice- This one has a little bit of trouble finding its way to the field as well though it isn't nearly as difficult as Vish can be at times. It's a fairly strong Groudon switch and this team's main answer to Zygarde. It can also sparingly check other mostly physical threats. Narrowly 3HKO'd by standard bulky Yvel's Sucker Punch. It's ice stab is amazing and hard to stop once the ball gets rolling. The choice of icicle spear can seem a bit strange, but it's hard to threaten a subbed Zygarde without it, but if you want you can swap icicle spear for Seed bomb to smack kyogre or even swords dance if it so strikes you to blow past NDM which can give it trouble.

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane- Pretty much this team's mandatory Zac-H check. This guy is pretty straightforward, it gets in on a play rough and starts doing damage. Has a bit of coverage issues, but since it baits in Kyogre pretty hard, it can use that to its benefit getting Vish in for pretty much free.

If you read that, I'm sorry for my deluded ramblings, but I just figured I'd give a long-winded explanation as to how this team functioned so that I don't look completely insane seeing as this team's picks are a bit out there at a glance. Let me know if there's any glaring issues, if anything's (somehow) unclear and if you use this team, definitely let me know how it goes!

So I rlly like para spam I thought I should drop one in here. I like marshadow as it is one of the best wallbreaker on paraspam teams and it getting poltergiest is just fascinating as u get to identify the item of opposing Pokemon as well as fascinating power. So here we go!

Pretty simple build ig? U have two fairy resists there's ndm to wall zacian hero as well as xerneas but sometimes Geo xern is just too overwhelming so for that there's marshadow to revenge kill it. About the question I will lose ndm in dealing Geo xern so how do I deal zacian hero after that? Well the answer to it is get enough chip on it with spikes, there's kyogre to kill it, there's shadow sneak, the teams basic element paralysis and many elements to help. And anyway I didn't see zacian and xerneas on one team but I could be wrong and if I am the above mentioned thing strongly help.

Kyogre - this mon is mostly used as a revenge killer and I especially have it as a ho-oh resist and check and also it's excellence in wallbreaking and sometimes spread paralysis with thunder on etern switch ins so that it's becomes easy to kill later.

Marshadow - the star of the team it performs role as a breaker and revenge killer. Poltergiest and cc are the main spam-able move, rock tomb is a ho-oh coverage I tried bulk up but trust me rock tomb is much much better. Shadow sneak is a revenge killing move which makes marshadow so good.

Xerneas- this is a defensive mon with aromatherapy to clear the status conditions of the breakers and it checks opposing marshadow, zygarde, zekrom, takes yveltals's knock off and checks it. Rest, sleep talk ensures its longevity.

Necrozma Dusk-Mane - this mon is the rocks setter, fairy check and twave spreader. Its main aim is to set rocks and check the fairies and twave its common switch ins like yveltal and palkia (zyg is a switch in but ofc u cant twave it).

Yveltal - this is my calyrex-shadow rider check and the defogger and also so called groudon check and also a pivot. 152 attack evs let u break sub caly's sub for sure and then u can switch into marsh or ogre. This set seems to be a bit passive but i couldnt have knock with marsh and also i was in a desperate need of fp to check groudon.

Ferrothorn - Here's the kyogre check. Umbrella over lefties as u dont want specs ogre to embarass u :( . No proect with umbrella cause u want curse so much as if zekrom tries to set up on u it won't be able to. Spikes is what made me keep this thing over eternatus. And umbrella without tect is totally fine it seems. power whip for kyogre. Another thing for it over etern was it goes into defensive xern which otherwise is annoying.

So the play is p simple with this team spread as much para as possible and set as much spikes as possible and kyogre and marshadow do their work. But I would like to mention some points -

1) Avoid groudon setting up on u as it's a serious pain in ass as if they have ghost horse+groudon it maybe hard to play after u sacrifice yveltal. One more threat to this team is lorb etern but yeah it's not a huge one kyogre 2hkoes it with ice beam and it can be handled.

2) Try to keep up rocks with 2 layers spikes in the end game as this brings etern into ogre's ice beam range---

252 SpA Kyogre Ice Beam vs. 240 HP / 252 SpD Eternatus: 180-212 (37.4 - 44%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock, 2 layers of Spikes, and Black Sludge recovery.

So thats it again I aint sure about ferro's item but umbrella seems fine to me. Groudon is a serious threat to this team but fp ygod + marsh seems totally fine against it and i have tried some games against lorb groudon too.

TrueNora please note the changes :)

Never uploaded a team before lol.
Since it's been 1 month of playing showdown I decided to upload my team
https://pokepast.es/50af835b43262a8d
The team is based on calyrex, zacian and zygarde being the core and the main sweepers
We have out ferrothorn at max special defense so it could survive scarf Kyogre water spout and leechseed or gyro to do enough damgage so calyrex can come and kill the kyo
Yveltal if revenge kill on opponent calyrex and necrozma kills fairy Type
This team I should pretty good and fun so I would like you all to try and pls tell me if anything needs to be changed in the team.

Ok so here's what i want to submit

This is a sun build around reshiram which becomes a threatening wallbreaker under sun ofc due to blue flare becoming so spammable. There's good use of twave on this team to make things slower than reshi and also there's scarf calyrex-shadow rider, an excellent revenge killer and cleric. There's a pivoting yveltal to safely bring in reshiram or others in different conditions. Finally groudon the sun and rocks setter.

Reshiram - The main wallbreaker and the ho-oh switch in. under sun blue flare and draco meteor 2hko any pokemon except blissey, chansey(does anyone use chansey?) and ho-oh. there's stone edge for ho-oh and stone edge does somewhat 35%-45% to 252defense, 4hp blissey so not a big deal. Boots is always a good item the nature I chose was rash cause what do u miss that naive doesnt? If its zygarde i dont think anyone would bring a fresh+0 zyg 1vs1 on reshi cause its madness. If its groudon its worth thinking but defensive groudon+ caly is enough ig and u dont wanna miss the damage. Roost for longetivity.

Groudon - The sun and rocks setter. Takes on yveltal, zekrom and may handle glare zyg and do some damage to dtail one. This mon is also the only reliable switch in to marshadow and urshifu. Very reliable defensive mon and rocks setter.

Necrozma-Dusk Mane - The zacian check and also checks stuff like calyrex-ice rider and xerneas. Twave spreader which helps reshiram to sweep. Knock off is to make sure i dont get trapped by goth.

Blissey - ok this is the offensive etern, ogre and xerneas switch in. Confide helps with xern twave helps reshiram and seismic toss is a damage dealing move. This mon is also the status moves absorber thanks to natural cure.

Yveltal - this is the calyrex shadow check and the defogger. U-turn is an excellent move which is often helpful. 152 evs to break sub-seed Calyrex shadow's substitute and roost is for longetivity. Foul play has many uses like check some zyg variants, groudon, dd ndm and zekrom.

Calyrex- Shadow Rider - the revenge killer of this team and also an emergency cleric it is goddamn fast able to revenge kill stuff like kyogre sub-seed caly(after yveltal u-turns) eternatus dd ndm and what not. trick is to put yveltal in trouble as after trick yveltal takes rocks damage and then it can be paralyzed to further pressure it with reshiram. Astral barrage is the broken signature psyshock for etern and geo xern(in emergency but in most cases not needed).

No glaring weakness to this team as per me but zyg mu is a bit bad and u have to play around it well with sd don and fp yveltal helping to ko it with aroma calyrex to cure of the status zyg gives them. The plays simple set sun and rocks spread twave as much as possible kill with reshi as much as possible and revenge kill with calyrex shadow. Hope u have fun with it!

I've been building a lot recently, so might as well submit one of my simpler and easier to use teams.

https://pokepast.es/2080716a9d0299cd

Pretty straightforward and standard webs team, and most of the sets are pretty self explainatory. Shuckle sets up rocks and webs reliably, running encore to annoy opposing mons who think they can set up safely, and final gambit to go out with a bang, to clear the way for our other mons to begin applying offensive pressure. Necrozma Dusk Mane and Yveltal help against the fairies, Zacian Hero and Xerneus, and Calyrex-Shadow respectively, and Yveltal runs taunt to stop defoggers. DD NDM runs stone edge to nail Yveltal and Ho-oh, OHKOing Yveltal after a boost. Meteor beam Eternatus has great coverage and can be tough to switch around, and its evs allow it to outspeed non positive speed natural regieleki with webs up, to prevent it from spinning away the webs, while maximizing its bulk (although you can also run max speed if you really want to outspeed things outside of webs). Marshadow is a powerful breaker that also serves as a back up check to Calyrex-Shadow. Zacian Hero with babiri berry can easily beat Necrozma Dusk Mane on the switch, as a +3 crunch 2HKOs NDM, and Sunsteel strike only does about 45% max, thanks to babiri berry. Evs allow it to outspeed non positive speed natural regieleki with webs up while also maximizing its bulk against mons like scarf Calyrex, although again, running 252 evs in speed on Zacian Hero is also fine, but adamant is prefered as it guarentees a 2HKO on NDM.

The team struggles against scarf Calyrex Shadow, like most offenses, although Marshadow and Yveltal help to remedy this. If Necrozma Dusk Mane falls, Xerneus and Scarf Zacian Hero can also be seriously threatening. Trick room mons, such as Calyrex-Ice and Trick Room Necrozma Dusk Mane can also be tough, but our own NDM also helps to check these threats. Finally, Ditto, as always, remains a serious threat to all webs teams, as it ignores the web speed drop once it transforms and can revenge kill our set up sweepers. However, this team is built in such a way that you can play around Ditto, as we always have a mon that can check Ditto once it copies our mon and locks into a move. For example, Ditto copying our Eternatus has to be careful locking into Dynamax Cannon, as our Zacian Hero is immune to it.

Overall, this team is a pretty simple, easy to play and pilot, and is a overall pretty solid team, as I was able to peak on #1 on ladder using it.

Edit: Swapped Galvantula for Shuckle

i was bored and i had nothing much to do so i thought i should post all of my teams in this so that ppl can use my teams and be bored like me
THE FIRST TEAM and also kinda my best team is ray webs pretty self explanatory yvel to stop (totally not broken) calyrex ,rayquaza cause i thought it would look cool, shuckle gives webs, zacian hdb is a cool looking cleaner subsitute for nomie xerneASS, groudon is amazing on webs as a breaker, ndm is there to stop defogs attempt and zacian and xern from sweeping.
THE PASTE:https://pokepast.es/a3f4edc37f5da03e
THE SECOND TEAM this one was made to look cool its literally using xatu i mean cmon if xatu in ubers isnt cool then wtf is anyhow the team is simple and self explanatory, banded hooh is stronk as shit, black glasses yvel is also stronk as shit, they both hate hazards and xatu stops hazards, chansey beats all special attacker and semi checks caly which is clutch since yvel is offensive, ndm aids hooh in beating xern and zacian cause the fairies are great in g8, tangrowth beats zekrom donner and zyg which are problematic otherwise.
THE PASTE:https://pokepast.es/7010a47a34aec3f2
THE THIRD TEAM this team is crazy its got chad urshifu, gdarm the beast, and cm ogre the fat fish, again simple to use gdarm is an amazing ndm lure u click uturn on ndm as a result you get in urshifu who wicked blows the shit out of other teams, shifu uturns on yvel and etern which can give gdarm free access and since uturn hurts ndm alot it cant infinately hit darm rocky helmet is a problem but honestly shifu is soo good ull love using this team, rest is just the same ol boring yvel for caly(didnt see that 1 coming caly is totally balanced), shedinja for xern and ogre, tang covers all other defensive holes, ogre is an amazing threat that can deal with hooh which this team hates alot.
THE PASTE:https://pokepast.es/e190d6256d042a53
THE FOURTH TEAM its just plain ol' tr nothing cool or standing out ,we got hatterene tr lead, vish the super fish, caly-ice the cleaner, ndm for xern and shit good cleaner too, (wait no yvel oh wow how can that be i knew calyrex wasnt broken and didnt require a dedicated check on all teams ppl are just making a big deal out of it for no reason hehe) we got porygon 2 which is totally meant for setting up tr and not to check broken bitch caly, ogre specs provides rain for vish is also stronk as shit on its own.
THE PASTE:
https://pokepast.es/7a3b5fa242be7c87
THE FIFTH TEAM at this point altho i have alot of teams to share im really bored of all this writting so ill be making this my last team post this team has a great defensive backbone and cm ogre as a wincon its a really consistant team imo i made it when i was fresh in the morning so its a good team , tang+hooh+ndm+yvel+eternatus beats almost the whole tier ogre with cm is a wincon so ye that is all foe this team a very boring looking unfun team
THE PASTE:

Behold, we do a little trolling and bring something a little spicy: https://pokepast.es/883be6124cc6ec27 as the Buy Trollcoin (Not Financial Advice) (No Goth Plan Edition) Anti-Offense (as per usual, PM me for a more detailed team explanation).

Melmetal is used too much as this braindead banded mon under Trick Room that clicks the funny Steel type move. I think Melmetal solves a lot of cheese problems:
-OHKOs all Shuckle, Slurpuff (before it gets a Yawn), TR Hatterene, etc.
-About a free 12.1% chance to limit Grimmsnarl to just Reflect through double crit chance
-Glue mon that takes select hits like Ho-Oh is EV'd to take
-It's a big sprite so it scares people

This nuts EVs spread:
+1 252+ Atk Choice Band Zacian Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 84 Def Chople Berry Melmetal: 222-262 (54 - 63.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+3 252+ Atk Choice Band Zacian Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 84 Def Chople Berry Melmetal: 370-436 (90 - 106%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO (insane)
+2 252+ SpA Xerneas Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 172 SpD Chople Berry Melmetal: 326-384 (79.3 - 93.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

T-Wave is usually very free on the Tangrowth/NDM/Ho-Oh that thinks it's about to take a Banded Double Iron Bash.

Rest of the mons:
-Tyranitar with Ice Beam to yeetingly punish Tangrowth, Lando-T, and Zygarde, standard SpDef spread otherwise (preferred over Yveltal for offensive Etern with Meteor Beam)
-Scarf Calyrex to revenge the whole meta and give enjoyable cleric/Trick support against Webs and setup sweepers
-The DISGUSTING HEAT Substitute Etern PP stalls NDM and CM Ogre, and non-offensive Yveltal
-Normal Tangrowth, because every good team likes spaghetti for Zygarde and Banded Zacian (it's a matter of taste to make Tangrowth slower/faster so that it functions in or out of Trick Room)
-Normal Ho-Oh with the coveted BasedWhat? EV spread for non-Goth and +2 Xerneas and the rest

I can't think of a better team versus all three of Webs, Screens, and Trick Room.

Note to reader, it's not optimized for Gothitelle. The council needs to get out of whatever coma they're in to ban that broken thing. I used a modified version for Flying Economy r2 that fit budget (and ran Specs > Scarf Caly-S given the format) if you want to see it: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ubers-541811

Double Goût

Usually I don't ever share web-based teams due to my various team experimentations with the style, but since common threats are slapped on it while it does really well as other gimmicks that I pulled off successfully and consistently, time to share a team with multiple "dual" cores

:sm/aerodactyl: :sm/slurpuff:
Starting off, the dual Leads. Slurpuff is the bread of the team, providing sticky web support while threatening to KO opposing defoggers, staving off substitute set up attempts from zygarde and caly-S (Endeavor + Dazzling Gleam), or at least sedating them in certain situations (Yawn). However, having just only a plain bread to eat wouldn't be enough at all, as the lack of the standard magic coat gives it vulnerability to other hazard leads (Mainly froslass, shuckle, mew, aerodactyl and the rare Excadrill) and prone to be shut down by taunt. Of course, all breads comes with their own dressings and its most suitable butter for it is Aerodactyl. It provides Rock Tomb (breaking other leads sash and simultaneously lowering their speed), Taunt, and a unique option to either become an Anti-Hazard remover in certain matchups (Defog) or provide a large speed boost before it gets knocked out (Tailwind). This fixes the issue of slurpuff worrying about any setup attempts and if it does not consume its focus sash after setting up webs, and unlike shuckle, isn't too passive. With that, the main appetizer is created.

:ss/groudon: :sm/zekrom:
Now every dish comes with a delectable taste that should leave you with a 'bon appetit', and look no further to the premier offesive steaks that sizzles the meta into Kentucky fried chickens, Groudon and Zekrom, needs no explanations. It simply breaks through 80% of the meta with sheer physical firepower (Rock polish was ran to threaten any yveltal with foul play and/or in the event that you lose your webs). However, this noticeably makes it serverely flawed against Calyrex-Ice, tangrowth, Porygon2, Physically defensive Ferrothorn, Coil zygarde, lunala packing wisps, and Tapu Bulu. To alleviate this issue and bring out the true fragrance of such vicious strength, special attackers are the crème de la crème salt and peppers to bring out the aroma and expectional taste, that being kyogre and eternatus

:ss/kyogre: :SS/eternatus:
Kyogre with choice specs simply tears apart Don and zekrom's counters with just a water spout or origin pulse, and boltbeam coverage backing it up in case those aforementioned checks wants to switch in freely. It even survives a +1 astral barrage from both modest/timd scarf caly at full without being hazard chipped. However, this opens a huge hole for ditto to potentially reverse sweep in many situations, and that's where etern comes to provide the cherry on top.
It helps to block opposing thunder much more reliably than Groudon or Zekrom since it takes an ice beam, while It KOs any zacians and most Xerneas barring the defensive ones if you did not obtain a meteor beam boost, with sludge wave, and comes an additional benefit of abosrbing Toxic spikes.

:Aerodactyl: :slurpuff: :groudon: :kyogre: :zekrom: :eternatus:
Then I realise there were additional "dual" cores in the team that compliment nicely with each other, thus the name "double goût", exceeding in such juicy raw power and team synergy

(Side dish: if you want a more reliable way to check calyrex-S, offensive yveltal with taunt could be used over etern)

If you want to see more recipes, please pay more RNG :pepega: (I'll be constantly editing it if you have good constructive feedback/criticism on the team)

Block Ogre
Original:

Edited:
https://pokepast.es/abbf92e93bc02f71

This team is without a doubt one of the most effective teams i have used on Gen 8 ladder

:ss/kyogre:

The star of the show Block Ogre, in this team the ogre bluffs specs soyour opponent is forced to switch into etern or blissey. On the switch into their ogre counters you should block, not allowing them to escape and allowing you to have free set up. After you pp stalled them Ogrehas the free reign on the field and can sweep. What about revenge killing? Well we have the solution Wacan Berry stops revenge killers like zac from doing their job allowing you get an easier clean with your Caly. What about matchups like HO?
On those matchups you cm first turn then start spamming surf, after killing shuckle it allows you to claim a second kill normally ho will switch zekrom to threaten you out but if they decide to set up thx to wacan you can live +1 bolt strike allowing your team to have an easier time vs webs ( this includes Offensive NDM, Regileki, Zacian)

:ss/calyrex-shadow:

This the cleaner of the team after ogres assault few things will remain so save your Caly for when you want to sweep up the remians the Fish left. It also helps vs the webs matchup since its the only fast thing on the team.

:ss/ho-oh: :ss/eternatus: :ss/yveltal: :ss/necrozma-dusk-mane:

The Defensive core, there is not much i can say about this core other than its one of the most effective in the current meta in ubers, you may think the team is weak to groudon and zekrom. It is not going to lie to you, but NDM with eq can deal with non balloon variants of zekrom. In case they are magnet rise or balloon caly can take care of it, meanwhile groudon, Caly can easily take care of the Don without much trouble. the core of Ho-oH + Ndm really helps vs the effort of defeating the broken Zacian.

Edit: Chnaged the Ogre to Scald and Bold for a more reliable matchup vs teleport bliss, although the changed team fails the 2 hit ko on Zekrom that specific Mu that was mentioned earlier and the ohko on Spdef Yveltal at +6 with surf.

BIG SLUGGA BALANCE:
Sub + Meteor Beam Eternatus absolutely shreds weakened defensive cores and PP stalls NDM easily, etc. Gastrodon + Zarude is the hottest unorthodox core on the market, actually beating CM Ogre and Dracovish--certified Tony approved core. This is my team by the way, and it's seen great SSNL coverage. It's a great bulky offense. Scarf Caly is the Don/Groudon insurance policy.

Main replay that inspired me to actually rate what I forgot about months ago: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8ubers-551081

SS Ubers Sample Teams: https://pokepast.es/fd2b8981b1162359

These are the Sample Teams with up-to-date sets. I've included my Specs Calyrex-S Balance, in addition to the Icemaster Sample Band Zacian-H Balance, as Calyrex-S is arguably a better choice for Balance than Zacian-H. Calyrex-S is able to provide both breaking and cleric support to Balance teams. The latter quality is especially invaluable, as a Balance team without a cleric is subject to losing to status in the long run. Additionally, here is an extended description of the team along with some of the more notable feats it has accomplished.

With the Shadow Tag Suspect Test now over and the Sample Teams being updated fairly soon, I want to drop what I consider to be my most successful build of SS Ubers. I know the thread is closed at the moment and not accepting submissions, but as I am taking a hiatus from Showdown, I thought now would be the best time to post this build.

890.png
800-dm.png

This is a solid Balance Team that capitalizes on the tremendous breaking potential of Specs Calyrex-S. The standard defensive backbone of Yveltal, Eternatus, and Necrozma-Dusk Mane (YEN) allows this team to perform fairly well against the major offensive threats found in SS Ubers, namely opposing Calyrex-S, Eternatus, Kyogre, Xerneas, and Zacian-H. Heavy Duty Boots is used over Black Sludge on Eternatus to improve the Specs Kyogre match up, which can otherwise be quite difficult. Additionally, since Yveltal utilizes a Choice Scarf to provide a form of speed control and drastically improve the Webs HO matchup, Ho-Oh is used as another blanket check to Calyrex-S and Geomancy Xerneas. Defensive Zygarde rounds off the team by allowing it to better handle Swords Dance Groudon and Bulk Up Marshadow, which would otherwise be somewhat difficult to deal with. Glare allows Zygarde to spread Paralysis, which along with Ho-Oh's Thunder Wave, significantly improves the chances of Specs Calyrex-S being able to pick off weakened foes and successfully complete a sweep. Finally, aside from offering breaking and/or sweeping potential, Calyrex-S has access to moves like Trick and Aromatherapy, which can aid this Balance in a pinch. Indeed, this is an excellent build for players who are new to SS Ubers, as it grants them the flexibility of learning the tier via laddering, which is where this team performs most optimally.
This team was used by BasedWhat? and myself during the Shadow Tag Suspect Test, and both of us successfully obtained the necessary requirements, while each attaining a ladder ELO of 1600+. In particular, BasedWhat? went 30-0 in his journey to obtain the aforementioned requirements, which was a truly notable feat as he was the only player to have done so throughout the entirety of the Suspect Test.
As mentioned earlier, this team is an excellent first choice for players who are new to the tier. Most players learn the basics of a tier through laddering, and the success this team had during the Shadow Tag Suspect Test truly demonstrates its efficiency, while still being a relatively easy build to pilot.
