Bulky 3 Attacks (Kyogre) @ Mystic Water

- Ice Beam

[SET COMMENTS]

Kyogre is one of the top Restricted Pokemon in the metagame due to its high Special Attack and access to some of the strongest STAB moves in Water Spout and Origin Pulse, which can OHKO top threats like Incineroar, Ogerpon-H, Flutter Mane and bulkless Zacian-C. Its ability, Drizzle, takes its offensive output to outrageous levels while also facilitating the rain offense archetype. Its base 90 Speed allows it to function in both Tailwind and Trick Room. Origin Pulse allows Kyogre to deal consistent damage if it loses HP, which reduces the power of Water Spout. Hydro Pump is another great option, which allows Kyogre to have a strong Water-type move which isn't spread, allowing it to play better against Wide Guard. Ice Beam can threaten Grass- and Dragon-types like Amoonguss and Koraidon, which take resisted damage from Kyogre's Water-type STAB moves. Mystic Water allows Kyogre to OHKO Calyrex-S and Kingambit with Water Spout, which also allows Kyogre to use defensive Tera type. The EV spread allows Kyogre to survive a -1 Wood Hammer from Rillaboom and take two Life Orb-boosted Astral Barrages from Calyrex-S. The investment in Special Attack allows it to 2HKO Zamazenta-C with Origin Pulse. Tera Grass helps Kyogre defensively against Pokemon like Rillaboom and Raging Bolt as well as providing a Spore immunity.

Kyogre matches up poorly against Pokemon like Rillaboom, Raging Bolt and Ogerpon-W. Landorus is a great partner, as it takes on all of these with Earth Power and Sludge Bomb. It also struggles against faster Tailwind teams, which can threaten early damage, weakening its Water Spout significantly. This can be patched up by using Urshifu-R, which outspeeds most of the metagame with a Choice Scarf and threatens high damage. Amoonguss is quite annoying for Kyogre as well, threatening Spore while taking resisted damage. However, Tornadus, a great partner to Kyogre, can shut it down with Taunt while also providing Prankster Tailwind and Rain Dance, which can be used to reset weather against Groudon and Terapagos-S. Archaludon has great defensive synergy with Kyogre, switching into Rillaboom and Raging Bolt, as well as taking the opportunity to start setting up with Electro Shot.

* Kyogre is one of the top restricteds in the meta due to its high special attack and access to one of the strongest water STABs in Water Spout and Origin Pulse which can OHKO top meta threats like Incineroar, Groudon and Zacian-C Ogerpon-H, and Flutter Mane (Could be in Sun vs Groudon, and its probably less and less meta rn. Zacian-C is a roll.). Its ability Drizzle takes its offensive output to outrageous levels, while also facilitating the "Rain Offense" Archetype. Its base 90 speed allows it to function in both Tailwind and Trick Room teams. Mystic Water is the item of choice in this set, allowing it to boost its Water moves to insane levels OHKO Calyrex-S and Kingambit with Water Spout which also allows Kyogre to use non STAB tera for defensive purposes. The EV spread allows Kyogre to live -1 Wood Hammer from Rillaboom and take two Life Orb boosted Astral Barrage from Calyrex-S. The investment in special attack allows it to OHKO all neutral targets at full HP with Water Spout 2HKO Zamazenta-C with Origin Pulse (Some really bulky Pokemon take Water Spout, and that's not what the specific number of SpA is for.). Ice Beam can threaten Grass and Dragon-types which take resisted damage from Kyogre's Water STAB, (Explain Hydro Pump, move this above item section.). Tera Grass helps Kyogre defensively against Pokemon like Rillaboom and Raging Bolt as well as provide a Spore immunity against Spore.

* Kyogre matches up poorly against Pokemon like Rillaboom, Raging Bolt and Ogerpon-W. Landorus is a great partner as it takes on all of these with Earth Power and Sludge Bomb respectively. It also struggles against faster tailwind teams, which can threaten early damage, weakening its Water Spout significantly. This can be patched up by using Urshifu-R which outspeeds most of the meta with Choice Scarf and threaten burst damage. Amoonguss is quite annoying as well, threatening Spore while taking resisted damage. However, Tornadus, a great partner to Kyogre, can shut it down with Taunt while also providing Prankster Tailwind and Rain Dance (Explain the importance of Rain Dance.). Landorus and Archaludon are great partners for Kyogre as well, with great synergy both offensively and defensively. (If you really want to mention Archaludon provide notable match ups and bring up Electro Shot.)

this paragraph order needs to be fixed. it should follow the order of the set, so all moves need to be explained first in order, then you can go through set details like items/evs/teras. the ice beam sentence needs to go before the mystic water one. you also don't talk about origin pulse or hydro pump - they're both self explanatory stab moves yes, but a reader needs to know when to use each one because they're slashed - from what i can find, origin pulse is literally just hydro with better accuracy, so an explanation of where hydro fits would be good
