If we're talking possibilities: Can't you just download a pokemon from pokecheck that has pokerus?

If you will be around later this evening (in ~1.5 to 2 hours), you can trade me one of your pokemon, I will give it Pokerus, and we can trade back (we can't do it now b/c I have an old DS that isn't compatible with the wifi where I am now...). You can just give me a random Patrat to infect or something if you're worried about me kidnapping it.

Also I read about your cloning problem... forgive me if you've already tried this, but have you attempted the method using pokecheck in combination with pokegts? I'm able to clone that way (with the exception of pokemon with special ribbons).

When you say "You get to keep a copy", you're expressly agreeing 1 pokemon for clones is an even trade. But it sure as heck isn't an even trade if they're repeats of things I already have LQ2M.

Anyways, it's better to get these kinds of things out of the way upfront. Which is why I asked if you'd EV train in exchange, not knowing you had a trade thread.

In the future, I'd be willing to clone stuff I don't have in exchange for keeping a copy, but LOL it might be difficult to tell what I have and what I don't pre-trade. :P The important thing is that we both walk away happy.

I didn't mention solosis in my previous VM's. This isn't about solosis!! I appreciate that you gave me a copy of solosis and I was hoping to get an extra copy as a favor (like the EV training I was going to do).

As I said before, EV training was NEVER part of the trade agreement. Now, I think I was being rather generous in giving you 4+ of my pokemon basically for free. RNG takes hours to do. Cloning takes about 5 seconds...

Now, I'm free to trade but I'm not giving away these pokemon for free. I haven't decided what else I want from your thread but I'll let you know in the future. My 3ds is upstairs ATM. I'll be online in about 5 minutes.

There's been quite a bit of miscommunication here. I don't want to start a fight, but this is getting rather ridiculous.

1. I've never met someone who would trade you 2 copies of a pokemon without being asked explicitly beforehand. You asked for a solosis in the middle of a different trade, and I gave it to you. I think that's rather decent.

2. I thought we came to an agreement regarding the cloning. If you don't think this - well, I'm sorry. No "tacit agreement" trumps an "express agreement", and that's exactly what we had. I'd clone in exchange for EVing services. If you didn't realize that's what we were doing, you can re-read our conversation. But that seems rather petty, no?

3. I will trade for one copy of each of the 4 pokemon I asked for. If you want, I'll even give you a clone of each back since I know you can't clone. After this, we will both walk away happy. OK?

..Although actually, for the porygons you could just use the "Transfer to 5th gen." function on Pokecheck to get them without ribbons (since they're currently in 4th gen.). That would probably be the easiest route here. It would be a similar process of changing the DNS, but at least Pokecheck as clear instructions on how to go about doing that if you're confused (so it'd be good to look at their instructions anyway).

You download the .pkm file to your computer, then upload it to a fake GTS and send it to your game from there. I personally find http://pokegts.us/ easy to use.
Basically, you change the DNS on your DS to match the fake GTS, then go to the GTS in-game and you'll receive the pokemon you uploaded. It's a little bit hard to explain, but it's not too hard once you figure it out. Just remember that you must have a full party in-game when you go to pick up your pokemon, or it might get a bit glitchy.

As I recall we had an agreement you would EV for me on G4... which you couldn't do.

I'm feeling taken advantage of here. I offered the "credits" option because it's an ad hoc solution to a problem on your side of things.

So, anyways, as I recall you wanted more solosis, and I wanted those 4 things from your thread. Are you free to trade tomorrow?

Sadly, I lack the correct internet connection to trade him around in the 4th generation, but I can teach him any tutor attack you'd like before transferring to Gen 5 (as a Ralts or as a Gallade).

If you know how to use get .pkm files into you game through a fake GTS, then you can get them off of Pokecheck whenever. That will probably be the easiest route for me, tbh.

I really don't understand how you don't get how to use Pokecheck. The instructions are clearly laid out in the main page on what you have to do.

Sorry, but I won't, and I doubt you'll find anyone who will. A legitimate shiny Mew requires a JP save with a specific ID/SID, and any flawless spread (in 5 IVs) with a nature other than Timid or Careful requires you to idle in an emulator on your computer for literally weeks.

Pretty self-explanatory. Once you change the DNS settings on your DS Internet settings, you simply find a Pokemon on that site and download it. Just be sure to read the faqs regarding downloaded Pokemon.
