Welcome to the fifth iteration of the Diamond Pearl & Platinum Premier League. This thread will contain all administrative decisions regarding this tournament such as mindblowing activity decisions and the draft order. If you are spectating or participating in DPPPL V, you should watch this thread to stay updated throughout the season. Please do not post in this thread unless you are hosting this tournament or have permission from the hosts to post, respectively.

Compiled Administrative Decisions:

General Tournament Info:
  • Each team can purchase one manager for 15k. Each team can purchase a total of two managers for 40k in total
  • Teams can only have a maximum of 3 players either through self-purchase or retain.
  • Players will be locked into playing only the tiers they signed up for the entirety of the regular season AND playoffs (excluding tiebreakers).
  • Replays are required for all matches.
  • Each team will have minimum of 14 players (10 starters + 4 substitutes). You will have 140k credits to work with.

RE: Retain Policy in DPPPL V, Extended Manager Signups

Following the current discussion regarding retains in DPPPL V, Manager signups will be extended until retains are finalized for DPPPL V. Be sure to follow along with the current DPPPL V Format Discussion thread to follow along with live discussion on this matter. Player signups will still start despite manager sign-ups not being finalized. Furthermore, player sign-ups have already been set for advertisement for an affixed date for PS! Tour News to gauge sign-ups (this is relevant due to booking/pre-reserving a slot).
 
RE: Retain Policy in DPPPL V

Each team will be able to self-purchase one manager for 15k or both for 40k auction credits. Teams can retain up to 3 players. The maximum amount of allowed self-purchased and retained players is three in total. Managers must inform the tournament hosts 24 hours of any final self-purchases or retains before the auction date. Total money for teams is 140,000 credits.

RE: Extended Manager Signups

Following the conclusion on retains in DPPPL V will be our final decision for manager signups (ending on Tuesday 11:00 PM GMT-4).
