Announcement Goodbye For Now

As of today, I am stepping down from my roles as National Dex OU Tier Leader and OU/VR Council member. Recently, my personal life and professional career hasn't allowed me to dedicate the proper time towards tiering for National Dex that I feel it deserves. Burnout around mons and National Dex in general has undoubtedly influenced this decision for me as well. While this won't be a complete retirement from National Dex and definitely not from mons in general, I can't guarantee how active I'll be going forward. I guess we'll see. With my departure, sealoo will remain as National Dex OU Tier Leader, and I will leave any further nominations for tiering roles up to his judgement and choice of timing. Also, Boomenheimer will be taking over my responsibilities in regard to Generation 8 National Dex.

I'm happy to have served as National Dex OU Tier Leader for over two years and wouldn't trade it for anything, but now it's time to step away. Thanks for everything.

When I was first getting back into mons in 2022 I think the first tour replay I watched was Perc 30 vs Finchinator w/ the Seismitoad and tried to emulate that team LOL, glad its came full circle to being able to TL with you even for a small period of time

Thanks Kyo for all your effort and contributions over the years, including as a US East teammate and for kicking my ass in NDLT II tiebreaker the only time we played. Always thought you were the right person for the job to lead National Dex, glad our paths overlapped while they did.

I wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors and I hope you won’t be a stranger to those of us here in this community. Mons burnout is real and life can get hectic but you have friends and supporters for life amongst us here.

I’m grateful for the baton pass for Gen 8 National Dex Tier Leader and I look forward to a transition into some exciting plans with regards to the tier in the near future.
