Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Perhaps it's just the fact that it creates a throughline between two otherwise very different games, but I really enjoy how
is by all appearances a direct descendant of
(and you just know Lacey would appreciate the cuteness of a Goomy)
Mirai is also the Japanese word for "future"; looks like the straightforward word for "past" would be kako, which would transliterate... very badly in a Spain-based region, but I presume there's a relevant word that looks like korai (which is, incidentally, a Hungarian word for "early").
Edit...
Controversial (?) opinion: storming the Silph building is the best part of Kanto. All those nooks and crannies, the atmospheric background music, the believable terror from the NPCs, the out-and-out heroism of your actions as a player... fun in Gens I, III and VII.
On a separate matter, setting...
Aaargh, I log in so infrequently that I almost didn't see this! But if the offer is still valid, then yes - can offer Uxie again if that interests you at all haha
I can just see the Pokédex entry now: "In the lush, calm environment of the Hisui region, Mandibuzz has shed its dark attributes"
On an entirely separate matter:
Which surely means that , no?
It's a little alarming that they've apparently gone extinct since the Hisui period :blobastonished: but agreed, very cool!
Relatedly, with Wyrdeer and Basculegion, is this the first time we've gotten completely new non-restricted (by which I mean, neither legendary nor mythical nor Ultra Beast)...
Not even mentioned in the trailer, just dropped quietly on the website, but it turns out we're getting a free Manaphy egg? That's a very cute way to integrate the former Ranger bonus.
A bizarre thought: if the placement of Legends: Arceus in this timeline is even roughly correct, Opal’s birth and childhood are closer to those games than they are to SWSH
Beartic's Shield Pokédex entry (emphasis mine):
and from Sword:
In CT, we gained access to a location literally named "Frigid Sea", where Beartic can occasionally be found... on land only.
Something I did only five minutes ago:
raise Hatterene to Lv. 64 with candies so it learns Magic Powder
go to Split-Decision Ruins
select electric pattern
send out Hatterene to use Magic Powder on Regieleki, so I can then use Thunder Wave on it
realise I did not bring a Pokémon with Thunder...
