I did not make the list; someone else did. However, the reason is most likely familiarity.
It is important that only one romanization is used for each translated word, since that makes doing find-and-replace when we have English translations much simpler.
Good luck. Just so you know, Shoddy Battle may or may not have a correct implementation of Mirror Move. I honestly can't recall. Don't know if that matters to you, but I thought I'd mention it.
No, because the user of the move switched out. If you switch into a move that you're immune to and the user of that move stays in, you can copy it with Mirror Move. The moment the original user of the move leaves play, you can no longer copy the move with Mirror Move.
