    What if the end of the cross evo is still NFE? For example, If I had Rhyhorn get an evolution from Lampent or something, would the result still get eviolite access? And if so, would it get access if the donor was a base that evolved once and vice-versa?

    1. too lazy to properly use a tournament format that encourages good teambuilding for each round with different formats, because of the systematic banning of important elements each round.
    2. why the fuck would you think that it doesn't become luck based with who uses elements that get banned.
    3. people can ask previous opponents and scout their future foes.
    4. people can watch the battles as they happen so now you have to play all battles in hidden rooms so that nobody can watch your match and gain an advantage.

    Do you think that if this was a good idea, somebody would've used it before in a tournament where the purpose WASN'T good teambuilding but rather playing a single tier to the best of your ability? If this is at all a good idea, it would've been done before in a tournament where it is more relevant. What makes you think that it's a good idea here? Hint: It's not.
