    I don't believe that Electric/Grass is a poor defensive typing. Furthermore, the point about Aurumoth was just one point of many, and it didn't take priority over the other points that were made.

    It's a pretty mediocre defensive type. It only has 4 resistances, and none of them are dark type. It doesn't have to resist dark, but when it only has 4 resists, they've gotta be pretty damn important resists.

    I disagree that it'snot enough. I mean, it's not omg amazing defensive typing, but that's not what the concept requires anyway. It's not weak to priority, and electric/grass also gives it the defensive benefits of avoiding para and spore, increasing it's switch in potential. This isn't an iron wall concept, and not resisting everything means that parting shot will actually get used.

    I also think it's hard/subjective to judge what an "important resist" is. This is not to say that some aren't generally more valuable than others, but I personally think the electric and water resists are very handy and I wouldn't call them bad resists. Anyway, thanks for the chat.

    Ah. Being profile locked sucks; just ask a SMod/Admin for your access back and they'll do it.
