Overview
#########
  • It's one of the best late game sweepers in PU with Autotomize
  • Is easy to wear down by entry hazards
  • Is countered by lickylicky and other walls
  • It's bad defensive typing and Stealth Rock weakness makes it hard to set up
  • It faces competiton from Regice barring outspeeding scarf Tauros and scarf Rotom-F, while Regice has better bulk and a better movepool

Autotomize
#########
name: Autotomize
move 1: Autotomize
move 2: Freeze Dry
move 3: Hidden Power Ground
move 4: Ice Beam / flash cannon
ability: Weak Armor
item: Life Orb
evs: 78 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
=======
  • Autotomize is to get Vanilluxe to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame
  • Freeze- Dry hits Water- types for super effective damage, which is very important.
  • Flash Cannon is to hit Avalugg and weaken Regice, But Ice Beam is a better STAB move, and it isn't too costly to drop Flash Cannon
  • Hidden power ground Is to hit Fire types, Rock Types, and Ground types harder on the switch.
Set Details
==========
  • 78 HP is to take a hit and set up Autotomize
  • 180 is enough to outspeed 1+ base 100's
  • 252 is for maximum power
  • Life Orb is for extra power

Usage Tips
===========
  • Make sure that any fire types and fighting types are killed before attempting a sweep
  • Taking a hit can Activate weak armor and you Can get Set up more safely and be faster.
  • The way to use Vanilluxe is to come in after a Pokemon has been knocked out. You also have to make sure that any entry Hazards are removed on the field in order to sweep.
  • Its also good to watch out for any Phazers and remove any Hazard setters before attempting to set up

TEAM OPTIONS
===========
  • Water- types can take care of the Fire-types that Vanilluxe struggles against. Examples are Floatzel and Mantine
  • Wallbreakers like Basculin can KO Lickylicky and other walls for Vanilluxe.
  • Scyther can handle fighting types with its high speed and Technician boosted Aerial Ace. Musharna can Baton Pass any Calm Mind boost to Vanilluxe making it powerful and bulky
  • Defog users like Mantine and Swanna can support Vanilluxe by defogging entry hazards which cripple Vanilluxe's hope for sweeping
OTHER OPTIONS
############

  • Vanilluxe can run a Sub Protect set which is good for stall teams
  • Vanilluxe can efficiently use a Choice Specs set to punch holes in special walls
Checks & Counters
===============

**Special Walls**,Any special wall can wall vanilluxe with ease and cripple It with their moves.
**Fire types** Heatmor and Flareon can take a hit and ko Vanilluxe with their STAB moves
**Fighting types** throh, and Polywrath can take a hit and phaze Vanilluxe out
**Entry Hazards**,Stealth Rock cut 1/4 of Vanilluxe's HP. Toxic Spikes rakes up with LO damage each turn. Spikes are because they are grounded. Sticky Web makes it too slow to sweep

I know this WIP but automize is Autotomize :p

also you forgot some capitals, if you do it now it'll be less work for the gp team

Flash cannon doesn't hit anything that ice stab and hp ground don't already hit, I would honestly use both ice beam and freeze dry because having your only stab move be 70 BP is kinda lame, but freeze dry is really important for coverage.

Just for future reference, PM me if you want to reserve a Pokemon that was already reserved but does not have a skeleton posted, just in case a QC member gave the reserver special permission to take a little longer. Since you already posted the skeleton, I'll let you continue this analysis though.

  • has a really great move pool to work with
  • has a great support movepool to make good use of
It kind of doesn't. Just say that it has decent offensive coverage with its movepool.

Above average 85/95 defense stats
You don't need to mention the stats when they are displayed on the Dex. I would probably remove this point outright, since it does not salvage its terrible defensive typing (if you don;t want to remove that point, definitely add the latter).

I know this is a WIP, but IMO there should probably be a mention in "Moves" as to why one would opt for Freeze-Dry over Ice Beam (ability to hit Water-types for super effective damage).

I got your VM, but this is still a WIP. This still needs some work:

Overview
########
- I do not learn anything about Vanilluxe's role in the metagame. It's supposed to be a late game sweeper.
- I wouldn't call its offensive movepool good or bad, so I wouldn't mention it.
- Add that its poor defensive typing and Stealth Rock weakness makes it hard to find time to set up.

name: Autotomize
move 1: Autotomize
move 2: Freeze Dry / Ice Beam
move 3: Flash Cannon
move 4: Hidden Power Ground
ability: Weak Armor
item: Life Orb
evs: 78 HP / 252 SpA / 180 Spe
nature: Modest

- You forgot nature, need to work on your spacing, and you capitalized what shouldn't be capitalized and vice-versa...
- Hmm, I actually would say that Freeze-Dry stays as the main STAB move. Ice Beam should be slashed with Flash Cannon, and they should be last. After all, Flash Cannon is mainly for Avalugg and maybe weakened Regice. It's not too cost to have a stronger STAB move in reserve.

Moves
=======
-All the moves should then be ordered to match the set.

Set Details
==========
- So what do the Speed EVs help you outspeed at +2? (+1 base 100's)

Usage Tips
=========
- This is hardly a tip, this is basic advice for every sweeper. Delve deeper.
- I won't give you and tips as I haven't really used Vanilluxe, but one thing to note is that if you do not have a free turn to use Automomize, you can ty to tank a physical hit and boost your Speed with Weak Armor. Usually this is enough to sweep as long as your opponent does not have any priority users or Scarfers in reserve.

Team Options
===========
- Examples please?
- Defog users are particularly good teammates, since they generally can threaten Flying-types and they remove the hazards that really diminishes Vanilluxe's average bulk.

Other Options
############
- Explosion, Toxic, Frost Breath. That's about it.

Checks and Counters
===============
- Colons after each **Counter**
- special walls first, then fire-types, then fighting-types. Entry hazards, and then status go afterwards.
- Speaking of entry hazards, that's what it should be named as ALL entry hazards threaten Vanilluxe. Rocks cuts 1/4 of its HP, T Spikes racks up with Life Orb every turn, Spikes are because its grounded, and Sticky Web neutralizes it by making it too slow to sweep.
- I don't see why physical attackers are more notable than anything else, unless you are considering after the Weak Armor drop, but you don't really explain it at all.

I'll have more to say later, but this should be enough to get it out of the WIP stage.

Also, preferably, like I mentioned, the dots make the writeup easier, just add them at the end if you want, doesn't take much time. Also, a mistake I made myself once too, replace killed with KOed :p

This is a Work in Progress, he would have fixed those "important" errors before getting to QC or just before the writeup.

I'd like to suggest Calm Mind + Baton Pass Musharna as a partner. It comes in on Fighting types that check Vanilluxe and can set up Calm Mind before getting a slow pass off that coupled with agility it can ez lead to a sweep. I'd also like to see Ice Beam before Flash cannon because it is very useful against targets such as Tauros and pretty much anything neutral to it that isn't hit for SE from flash cannon
