At first I took this guy seriously but I couldnt help but laugh. He had a body slam and ariel ace charizard x, air balloon talonflame with flamethrower, blizzard and dragon pulse kyurem b (he wasnt running it on a hail team either), and he had a random kabutops (his team wasnt a rain team) that he immdiately sacked even though it could have been useful since I was using a rain team

Also Air balloon Talon can be pretty legit if you have a bulky gimmick set with roost

-Life Orb Donphan. It killed itself after a Greninja's Scald tripped Sturdy.
-There are some things that Breloom can effectively used Bullet Seed on. X-zard, however, is not one of them.
-Breloom using Rock Tomb on Ferrothorn. And then got hit (but not KO'ed, amazingly) by Gyro Ball.
-Swampert using EQ on Skarmory.
-Thundurus using Thunder Punch. On Garchomp.
-Said Garchomp was banded, but was spamming Flamethrower.
-Specs Gyarados.
-Specs Charizard with Flare Blitz.
-Grass Knot Metagross.
-SD M-Scizor with Bug Buzz. And Aerial Ace. And, in a brief display of sanity, Bullet Punch.

time for my second weird ou battle. so in the lobby chat a guy was wanting to do ou battles i challenged him and his team was by far the most surprising ou team ever.

azumaril: had hydro pump and ice beam beacuase who needs huge power
volbeat: no tail glow even -_- used thunder bolt on my charizard x
mega mawhile: had thunder punch Yea.. kinda viable tho
swanna: spammed hurricane..... no rain was up.
swampert: spammed blizzard.... against my +2 sp.d spiritomb. not hail

thats all i can remember about the team. my spiritomb just ruined everything (even mawhile)
 
Using Pokemon from lower tiers in OU like Flygon, Mantine, Emboar, Feraligatr, Jirachi, etc in OU is not silly nor funny. Using Pokemon like Piplup, Caterpie, Sunkern, Magikarp, Riolu, Jigglypuff in OU, THAT is silly. Putting an unviable Pokemon on an otherwise viable team is silly too.

Actually you might be able to blame me for that. I made a joke team to troll the lower ladder and get some funny replays, and one of the members was a carbink with an Abomasite which was nicknamed "Turn Into Diancie!" I got called a retard once for it, despite the fact that it was a legitimate strategy. Maybe my trend caught on? Do they hold any mega stones?


Anyway, here's mine: Today I was bored so I made a team of six legendaries for kicks. Many people were mad that I beat them. Especially this guy: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-138658177 who probably called me his languages version of a motherfucker at least a dozen times. It got funnier after I began to chat back.

Using Pokemon from lower tiers is silly if they are unviable, which is pretty much everything on your list bar Mantine.
 
I stand by Ohioisonfire. Smogon is trying to establish an objective standard of what is viable or not, I refuse to accept such an objective standard. No reason to put down others for disagreeing. If you have a good reason to use a Pokemon competitively or for personal preference, then you're not being silly. But if you're using baby Pokemon, it's hard to argue that is anything but silly unless it's a stupid gimmick strategy which means fooling your opponents to cause them to rage quit.

Had a bit of trouble finding a particularly funny battle today so I decided to go and find my oldest recorded battle, because what's better than a newbie's first (recorded) battle?

Also my Meganium is awesome, do not question. Even if I randomly decided to use Aromatherapy.

Actually I think Dragon Tail was the Meganium's only attacking move...

Last time I checked, using something unviable was considered "silly". Should we ignore all those Torrent Greninjas if someone said Torrent was the ability they preferred? Or the Florges that are probably used when Sylveon exists?
