sparkledaisy, a sprite can't have more than 15 (+ transparency) colors in total, and that means that even differences so tiny they cannot be seen with the naked eye are considered 2 different colors.Okay. I was just confused, because I saw that you liked the post of the newest one, but was that to reserve reading it for later?
I love it, the changes to the mouth make it a lot better. Since the backsprite doesn't have a mouth, I think that the most necessary change would be updating the basic/rare sequence to match the front (I think it loops four times now before going to rare?) There may also be other necessary things that I haven't noticed.Just finished my new version of goomy with both mine and legits sprites combined. Think it turned out awesome!

Lemme know if its good enough so I could make the back animated as well k? Till then, back to tyrantrum :)
I'm sorry. I thought that I double checked for not any other whites, but I guess I may've forgotten after editing the legs.sparkledaisy, a sprite can't have more than 15 (+ transparency) colors in total, and that means that even differences so tiny they cannot be seen with the naked eye are considered 2 different colors.
In your last edit, there's 15 whites. Yeah, FIFTEEN SHADES OF WHITE. If you can't or don't know how to fix it in whatever program you're using, try using MS Paint if you've got Windows.
it kinda varies depending on the pokemon but it prob should be at about 0.1 seconds per frame. Thats what I used at least. What FPS should the animations be at? I might use Adobe Flash.
Ok I will give it a try, thanks man.it kinda varies depending on the pokemon but it prob should be at about 0.1 seconds per frame. Thats what I used at least.
According to a pokedex entry, Bergmites tend to group together on top of it, which'd make it be more iceberg-shaped. It'd be really cool if the animation involved a bunch of lil bergmites jumping on it and then getting thrown awayJust some mild simplification of a great sprite.
I think I prefer this to the draft I showed you earlier Layell, though I'm not 100% sold on the highlight near the back leg. It's an awkward mon to highlight, honestly. I also changed the purple to a less saturated blue/purple, which I think matches its in-game colouration a little more closely. Let me know if you want more done with it.
That seems really complex for an sprite animation? I can't imagine that'd be easily doable at all - that's likely a lot of frames - but maybe I underestimate the abilities of the spriters here ;w;According to a pokedex entry, Bergmites tend to group together on top of it, which'd make it be more iceberg-shaped. The best I've been able to come up with is 7.5 frames per second, which is also 133.33 milliseconds per frame. 10 FPS seems a bit too fast. What FPS should the animations be at? I might use Adobe Flash.
Just saying, that line on its head bothers me.k heres the revised back sprite for goomy. pretty much just matched it up the animation with the front sprite so it was pretty easy to do.
