Hex
Nasty Plot

Will-O-Wisp

Pros:
  • Electric/Fire + levitate is a good defensive typing, being able to resist Fairy, Electric, Ice, and more, as well as quadruple resistance to steel
  • Has many useful moves such as Volt Switch and Thunder Wave
  • Good overall stat spread

Cons:
  • Struggles to take strong neutral hits
  • Stealth rock weak, which is especially bad in this meta due to the lack of hazard removal
  • Always leaves the plate warm but not the food

Terast Potential:
Rotom Heat is not the best user of Terastalization, but it can work at times. Terastalizating into a fire type can make its Overheats more deadly. It can also terastalize into a water type against opposing water types. However, it is more recommended to teralistalize into something more threatening.

Potential Sets:
(I'm shit at describing sets so sorry)

Standard
Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Thunder Wave/Will-O-Wisp
- Hex/Thunderbolt
This set is fairly simple to use. The severe lack of Knock Off benefits Rotom greatly so it can keep its HDB. Volt Switch can be used to easily keep up momentum. Thunder Wave is very useful due to the extremely fast nature of the meta right now. Will-O-Wisp can also work due to it severly hindering Palafin and other strong physical attackers. Hex can be used to punish offense ghost types like Dragapult and Ceruledge after statusing them.

Choice Scarf Pivot
Rotom-Heat @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt/Discharge
- Trick
This set is simple enough, it can easily keep momentum and revenge kill easily thanks to Choice Scarf and Volt Switch. Trick can be used to cripple walls like Clodsire which would normally force it out.

Overall:
Rotom Heat can fit on a wide variety of teams. Given the chance, it can prove to be a good pokemon on teams. However, the meta might not be entirely suited to it at the moment.

Rotom-Heat @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SpD
Calm Nature
-Overheat
-Volt Switch
-Thunder Wave
-Rest

Unfortunately Rotom-H has lost Pain Split in the new generation so that cuts its longevity down a bit but it is still a formidable defensive threat. It does really well against many of the sun sweepers and many of the newly introduced pokemon such as Goldengo. It really needs entry hazard removal to maximize its effectiveness so having a partner like Corviknight is great
