Client Paradox Abilities and Neutralizing Gas

we talked about this in DOUcord shortly after this was posted; you can see in the replay that Sandy Shocks did not move before Maushold despite having the Proto Speed boost on screen while Neutralizing Gas was in play, so this isn't a bug.

If anything this is probably a good indicator that the PS UI could be a little clearer about what actually happens in these cases, but that's outside the goals of this forum
 
Arcticblast is correct - Neutralizing Gas doesn't actually cause any additional messages to be sent in-game for the Paradox Abilities. If Protosynthesis / Quark Drive would get boosts from sun / Electric Terrain, but aren't because of Neutralizing Gas, then Neutralizing Gas leaves the field, you don't even know what boost it is - it's not announced. Similarly, when Neutralizing Gas enters the field, it doesn't indicate that the Abilities are turned off (even though they really are). Similarly, if sun / Electric Terrain ends while Neutralizing Gas and the Paradox mon are on the field, they will not indicate that the boost wore off.

However, this is a bug in the sense that Showdown can handle the latter two scenarios, even if it can't handle the first. It is however very difficult (for the developer - see the interaction of Neutralizing Gas and Unburden). So I'll mark this as a client bug.
