Galaxy in Janaki (Bisharp) (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 240 Atk / 52 SpD / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt
I went through a couple of different variations of these builds and changed my mind on a lot of them either from being the same old Magnezone, Breloom thing I do a lot or from simply not liking the idea behind it. After awhile I decided to throw on some usual offensive monsters, lots priority, power, etc. Psychic M-Diancie I put as an option for teams not so much weakness but failure to lure out stuff like M-Venusaur and Amoonguss effectively to give Azumarill and Bisharp an easier time. Lum Azumarill as a means to punish M-Sableyes, Scalds from Keldeo (normally it's Keldeo), and just some alleviation from general status anyways. Eplate Smack Down Lando-T to lure in Skarmorys that annoy M-Diancie and Azumarill while pressing builds at the thought of an incoming Eplate boosted Earthquake. 3 attacks Defog Latios is pretty customizable with a lot of different options you can try beyond just what is put here. HP Fire, Thunderbolt, Surf, Ice Beam, Calm Mind, Heal Block, Memento and so forth are all good. I slashed Thunderbolt first though because team is annoyed by bulky waters. Grass Knot / Heal Block are good options if you're in a position of play where you find Mega Bro a lot. Standard SD TFlame not much to say about that set other than Sharp Beak Brave Bird provides a solid win con that goes beyond the scope of "Fairy Spam". Taunt Bisharp isn't exactly a new thing or the greatest of sets in comparison to its other options but I feel like it worked here when testing considering a lot of defensive checks like to come in, heal up, and not care. Taunt slows down these mons using utility moves so that the offensive team-mates can keep picking off at targets for normally what is an SD Talonflame sweep in the end. Lum is to not get completely floored by Mews and burns.
Peli used an earlier version of my team for his r1 OST match that I will be happy to share later when he gives me the import in a couple of days. I sort of liked this version better although it can be a bit harder to pull off in some match-ups.
I'd like to request a team built around the following Pokemon:
Haxorus @ Life Orb
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab/Taunt
In the current metagame, I think Haxorus has more potential than it's credited for on the viability rankings; as a Dragon Dancer, it possesses unique advantages over each of its competitors (doesn't take up the mega slot unlike DD Char-X and DD-M-Altaria, isn't weak to SR like Dragonite), as well as some really good coverage that helps it cover Steel and Fairy types. Mold Breaker is also a pretty cool tool, helping Haxorus break past Rotom-W and Unaware Clef, and the combination of the above made me interested in this mon. This being said, Haxorus's mediocre bulk makes it hard to build around, so hopefully one of the more experienced builders here can help me - feel free to change the set, from EVs to moves.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Lucario and Sableye are very good pokemon in what they do. Sableye walls almost everything, while Lucario can be a very formidable sweeper, physical or special. (I ultimately decided to run physical in Lucario's set)
But, Sableye does have a weakness, with that weakness being fairy. Lucario can switch into [some] fairy type moves and retaliate with STAB Bullet Punch or Iron Tail. Also, Sableye is free to switch in on the attacks that threaten Lucario (with EQ being the most threatening) and stall out the threat or force the threat to switch out, allowing Lucario to come back into play and sweep.
----------
How I Would Like This Team Built:
I would like the team to be bulky offensive, as I feel a tea like this is unique. No one ever thinks to use Mega Sab on an offensive team that acts as a dual wall (sorta) and lets its teammates take care of what threatens it, and vise versa.
But, I wouldn't mind any way you guys build the team (except stall), as long as this core sees the day of light! :D
----------
I would like to request an offensive team with Mega Aerodactyl, a late-game sweeper very cool and with amazing speed, along with Hoopa Unbound, a powerful stall / wall / anything breaker.
Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace
- Aqua Tail
- Roost / Pursuit / Fire Fang / Ice Fang / Iron Head / Really Any Move.
Mega Aero is very good to finish a battle and very interesting against offensive teams thanks to its speed and movepool.
While Hoopa Unbound has an insane power making battles against stall more "fast".
I have used stall / balanced for most of the metagame ORAS OU, and I want to use something more different.
No problems about changes on the sets, thanks.
Heatran @ Air Balloon

hi, i'm finished with this team, np thundy + megagross is really nice for wearing down each others checks in stuff like slowbro, hippo, ferro, etc while metagross' decent bulk lets it take on faster threats if its healthy (also slashed bullet punch over grass knot because it helps a lot with alakazam). keldeo also pairs very well here, with thundy + keld wearing down and overloading stuff like amoonguss and mega venusaur with megagross helping with the double weakness. hp grass is really nice right now because the team is pretty hard walled by seismitoad / gastrodon and its a huge help there + gyarados is not very common right now so its on par, if not better than hp electric. i kinda needed starmie because hazard removal is needed, i like starmie over latios on this team, but that can open up a hole for keldeo once starmie is weakened / trapped so watch out for that, latios is still a decent option on the team though. i chose garchomp as my scarfer because i think its pretty good right now and outspeeds a bunch of threatening stuff ie +1 zard, megazam, thundy and all that. heatran was a nice addition because even though i have mgross, the team still feels annoyed by venusaur and taunt tran lets you break down defensive mons, air balloon is necessary because sand is a bitch to face, but you can win if you play well. i like focus blast on thundurus because it gives you a way to hit excadrill, but i think the speed control in thunder wave is really important in slowing down offensive mons. if you want to make the sand matchup a little better, just use rocks lando-t instead of tran. enjoy.
Hello, my favorite type of build in ORAS OU is balance, so I would like to request a balance team with Gliscor+Suicune. I really like RoarCune + Stallbreaker Gliscor for balance and an offensive sweeper, like M-Zam or M-Manec. I like the way the two synergize and Suicune can be a very big threat to unprepared teams. Thank you in advance!

Requesting Keldeo and Weavile.
I'm sure we've all seen at least a variation of this core somewhere before - Keldeo paired with a Pursuit trapper is just so deadly right now, especially with its very recent rise to S Rank. Weavile is the absolute best teammate for it in my opinion, and the two Pokemon share fantastic offensive synergy. Weavile traps and eliminates Psychic-types that are a hindrance to Keldeo like Lati@s, Starmie, Alakazam, Celebi and Slowbro without the need for mind games (unlike Bisharp), and additionally deals with Gengar, Amoonguss, Tornadus-T, Thundurus and Serperior, all of which are Pokemon Keldeo appreciate being gone.
Meanwhile, Keldeo beats the Steel-types that wall Weavile like Ferrothorn, Heatran, Mega Scizor and Skarmory, while handling Tyranitar and Bisharp, which with this set, Weavile otherwise cannot touch, 2HKOing Clefable and Mega Sableye with Hydro Pump and slightly alleviating the Azumarill weakness with HP Electric.
Core is incredibly weak to Talonflame and Fairies as well as generally faster attackers like Mega Alakazam, Mega Manectric and Mega Lopunny.
Hola Yomegami really good core, Talon provide the switch ins to steel types which Diancie struggle against them. First member want to add is Lando-t as will be my pivot to check common physical threats such as Lopu and Metagross, also it is my rocker. Next as Diancie isnt good at all to block rocks as it is beat it by any common rocker setter so i need a hazard control for Talon, my choice is Latios as also check keldeo and have enough power to pressure the opponent. Bulky offense teams also needs speed control despite of having priority, Scarf Keldeo fit perfectly checking dark spam and revenge killer. And last the surprise of the team, Curse Ferrothorn completes the FWG core, counter fairies and have great synergy with the rest of the team. Enjoy!!
Hello! I really want to use Toxic orb breloom + ttar. Toxic orb breloom is a cool mon that does very well against slower teams but struggles with faster psychics and flying types in general, so ttar does a good job of patching this up. ttar also allows this team to go a lot of ways with it setting sand and such. Ttar is just a suggestion though, i really just want a team with toxic orb loom. Thanks in advance and really cool thread.
Houndoom-Mega @ Houndoominite
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
Sure, these two mons probably look awkward together in this meta, but they're a pretty nice pairing. Toxicroak is a pretty underrated mon right now and is able to take care of many threats which would otherwise threaten M-Doom, such as Azu, T-Tar, and Keldeo. Mega Houndoom isn't seen very often, but it puts in work with its great STAB's and nice base 115 speed. Sucker Punch is used so that it can mega evolve safely-ish while taking out pokemon that are low on health that it would normally be unable to outspeed before mega-ing which is cool. I would like to see a good offense team built around these two, as I'm currently struggling to make one that deals with the main threats to the team, such as Talonflame as well as many ground types such as Lando, Exca, Chomp, etc. which this core is VERY weak to. But besides that, it's a fun core and I hope that if anyone takes this core that they have fun with it, too!
Hey TB shop!
I would like to request a balanced team with this core:
Lopunny @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- High Jump Kick
Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Heal Bell
Togekiss makes a really good partner for Lopunny because it checks pretty much every defensive Lopunny check. Togekiss can also break with np fat teams which Lopunny can't but lopunny can break offensive teams for Togekiss. Stuff like MSciz is a problem for this core
I'm pretty bad a writing sry for that ;-;
have a nice day!

Hi TONE114
Here's your Dragalge + Manaphy build. I changed the manaphy set from the TG + 3 attacks to the TG + RD one because in my opinion it performs better in this metagame. Common balance build are not that much prone to be swept by 3 attacks manaphy and I thought could be nice to have a tool to deal with stall.
Seeing the core I decided to build around a team that could be able to threaten all playstyle taking advantage of the toxic spike stacking. I tested a lot of things, like something more bulky with Msableye, but it ended up not performing that well.
Bisharp was added to complete the core because it takes advantage of Defog and it's a nice pick against offense. It's also your main win condition. I chose Lum Berry in order to setup more freely. Unfortunately in this meta it's hard to find setup opportunities with anything and with Lum I could matchup matchup better against Mew and the more common Rotom-W which is a nice pick against opposing Sand. With Lum Bisharp you take full advantage of Rotom-W and Lando that are two of the most common and solid counterplay to Sand, which is the most used playstyle right now.
Lando-T was added for rocks, for ground immunity, sand check and Mlopunny check who otherwise just destroy this build. Hp ice as the fourth move to lure in opposing Lando that are annoying as hell. Double dance is really common right now and I don't want to give them free setup + you chip damages them in order to have a nice ko with Bisharp later in the game.
Manaphy + Lando give also a nice counterplay to the bird spam you sometimes see on the ladder, with Manaphy taking on Talon and Lando taking care of Mpinsir and Dragonite to an extent. If you feel you don't need HP ice, feel free to use U-turn to grab some nice momentum for your others 3 mons. This is up to you.
Serperior was added as a second way to deal with Waters, because Dragalge is a shaky check and Manaphy doesn't carry energy ball. Taunt for opposing stall which would otherwise be very annoying to deal with. It's speed, grass type and the boosting moves let it be both a win condition, while I get that Torn-T is a thing :/, and your way to deal with Breloom, Azu and Keldeo, which are very common right now.
The mega of choice is up to you: Both MMetagross and Mscizor carry Pursuit in order to better deal with the Latis. The former is nice for the wallbreak capabilities, while the latter is nice for grabbing momentum for your brakers. I feel that you can try Mscizor coupled with U-turn Lando, or MMetagross couple with HP ice lando in order to exploit even further the lure against opposing Lando and Garchomp and give it an easier time against the opposition.
The build is very fun and I really prefer the one with MMetagross. I like the way the team support it with Lando and Dragalge, luring in grounds with the former and having an easier way to deal with hippo and slowbro thanks to Tspikes.
I feel opposing Malakazam build to be annoying and that's why you need to keep MMetagross alive in such matchup, pursuit trapping it or revenging with BP. If you feel this weakness along with the Weavile one is too much, feel free to put Mscizor then.
I hope you enjoy the build, it's really fun to use!

Hi Roscoe's Wetsuit , here's your Mlatias build.
I decided to pair Mlatias with my boy Hawlucha. Mlatias has a hard time against the opposing dark types, even with twave, it has a hard time against ttar and such. I wanted something who could exploit this. After testing a lot of things i found out that Hawlucha was the right guy to couple Mlatias with. I think hawlucha is a nice mon right now, being able to exploit the Landorus presence in the meta using it as setup bait and being able to completely destroy offense once you lose your item (pay attention to Talon and Weavile tho).
I paired these 2 with AV metagross. Easy and simple. It gives the Latis, Malakazam and Fairy switchins that you really need with this 2. I like pursuit trapping a lot in this meta and being able to remove these threats remove a lot of pressure on your team giving both Hawlucha and Mlatias an easier time.
Landorus was added as another ground immunity and I chose this time the DD set. It has amazing synergy with Hawlucha pressuring the same mons. Often in team preview you can see with which one you could win and use the other as a breaker to support the win condition of choice. Didn't really need the defensive set, because I already have Mlatias and Heatran to deal with Talon, Mlatias and the offensive Lando take care of Mlopunny and offensive Lando + Banded Azu take care of Sand.
Stall was a bad matchup right now and I slapped Magma storm heatran. With Leftovers which is always nice and maximum offensive investment to be able to outspeed and ko any forme of scizor. Rocks because rocks were needed and taunt + flash cannon + magmastorm for stallbreak. You can use earth power > flash cannon if you feel that's a better choice, but it's up to you. I tested both and found flash cannon more performing.
Azu was added a glue of the team. It brings a solid defensive utility in order to have couterplay to sand and rain. BD AJ often clean the game and it's a nice wallbreaker that open up huge holes for Landorus-t and Hawlucha to sweep.
The team function in a simple way. You have 2 win condition and Azu that is your main breaker. Heatran takes care of Msableye or other stall nuisances and Mlatias provides utility with Thunder Wave and with it's huge bulk could be very hard to take down once his counter are gone (thanks Metagross for providing this lol). Lando and Azu pressure a lot opposing Ferrothorn that will be easily take down giving Mlatias an easier time. Being able to trap Clefable with Heatran is a very nice plus because Latias lose to it. Overall once offensive fairies, clefable, Ferrothorn, Latis and Malakazam are gone, Mlatias usually automatically wins lol and it's not hard to this build to remove such threats thanks to the dual trapping core and the very offensive trio in Hawlucha + Landorus + Azu that pressure a lot such mons.
I hope you enjoy this.
I go on vacation today for ten days and that's why i did not picked up more cores. When I'll come back, with no incoming responsibilities, I'm going to take more.
I'm really looking to build more of a Bulky Offense team. Obviously if you need to change their EVs and moves, by all means go for it! I wasn't too sure and set on how Dragalge's EVs and moveset was to be completely honest haha. I love Mega-Scizor for his priority, technician, & STAB Bullet Punch. It hits like a truck with his Adamant Nature. I like Keldeo and Dragalge alongside because the compliment him with his fire weakness. Keldeo is my favorite Pokémon and I couldn't have this team without it. The last moveslot may need to be changed accordingly to the rest of the team's needs. Please, help me out experts! I've just gained an interest into competitive battling and will love to learn more!
Skarmory @ Shed Shell / leftovers / rocky helmet

I've been failing to make a decent team out of this core. General idea is to make a semi-stall/ fat balance team that's able to switch in to almost any mon and cripple it down with hazards and/or status. I feel like dd zard x is becoming a bit less good as it once was mainly due to defensive landorus and garchomp too an extend. Will-o wisp + shuffling can really worn these mons down. Skarm is added because of it's defensive synergy with zard whilst also being able to lay up spikes.
You can run flare blitz on zard for still having huge offensive pressure ( 2HKO on mixed def clef). EQ is also on option so you're not completely walled by tran and recoil damage won't wear you down. The item on skarm is dependent on the team. Shed shell to handle mag, leftovers for longevity and helmet to not give away too much momentum against opposing u-turners.
Pretty Slick core right here. To put it simply, ganlon berry natural gift is ice. Landorus is literally everywhere. Landorus checks Pinsir, Lure that thing and proceed to go ham with adamant feint pinsir. Feint is literally stupid as things that should revenge you like talonflame and weavile just get boped at the cost of a tiny bit of power right away. Pair with zone for best results
hey guys, id love for someone to build me a dank team around this solid core. ive had moderate success winnin room tourneys with it but im a mediocre builder at best.

metagross is here mainly to remove latis which are kelds most common answers as well as being a rly solid hard hitting yet bulky mon. once latis are gone, keld is a much more potent wallbreaker and can rly punch holes into the opposing team. regarding metas last move, ive found bp rly helpful in revenge killing weak shit and killing diancie since no one expects bp/pursuit but eq or ha are also useful otherwise tran hard walls. idk but i hope its a dank enough core, preferably balance/bo if chosen :^D thx

Hiya just wanted a team around this balance core. Roar CM Cune is really nice and can prevent setup sweepers like Slowbro from beating it. Roar also works well with Ferrothorn as they have good defensive synergy together as well as Suicune can phaze mons and Ferro can lay up spikes to hurt switchins. A balanced team would be preferred. ty for reading n_n
hi, i built this team really quickly because i already had something very similar to it from around the time olt started up. (only change made was ferro>torn-t and a couple set tweaks), but yeah the team was based off a very solid balance, albeit more weak to fairies than i'd like. so yeah, first team was built around dd zard + roar cune to wear down threats quickly, spreading burns and being a huge anti-meta piece of shit in general. lati was a pretty simple option here in order to help with the keldeo and manaphy matchup as well as providing hazard removal so the team doesn't get overwhelmed, defog+spikes sounds pretty counterproductive on any team but i can't stand starmie on these of builds, even offensive ones and latios is generally a more consistent pokemon and is generally better. so yeah clef was added to help with stall matchups and spread paralysis like a balanced pokemon would. so like i said, the initial build had torn-t here because of grass types and the like, while hippowdon was last added in order to cover bisharp/charx and such. i like this version with ferrothorn more though because spike stacking with roarcune is really effective and it breaks so many teams over time.
threatlist: volcarona, lo torn-t, and mega pinsir when hippo is weakened, so watch out for them. mega venusaur and amoonguss also need to be played carefully around because spore's a bitch and sludge bomb poisons are so annoying. serperior is a huge threat to the team, but another change you can actually try out is charizard y > x because you can check serperior a little better. enjoy.
Hi Teambuilding Workshop, just looking for a HO team (maybe bulky offense could work as well?) around this core. Sets can definitely be altered to fit the team, and the Hoopa set is really just filler and can be changed to whatever. Anyway, I think toxicroak is a really cool mon that alot of HO and balance teams aren't prepared for, killing off slower faires like clef for hoopa, as well as providing access to powerful stabs as well as sucker punch to clean up weakened HO mons. Hoopa helps to deal with your lati's and Other psychics that could threaten croak as well as having amazing coverage to hit mons like lando/hippo/skarm hard to pave the wave for croak in the later stages of a game. Thanks for any suggestions and for reading. :]
I feel like this 3 mon Core could work well. Heracross is a bit underrated, but can punch holes into slower teams. Excadrill is to sweep offense, which Heracross can't do that well. Tyranitar is to get sand for Excadrill and to Pursuit trap Latis for Heracross and kinda for Excadrill too. This cores answer to Skarmory is SDing up with Heracross, but usually Skarmorys run Whirlwind, so thats not a reliable answer. Thank you if you take this core and good luck building!
