Introduction:

This is the thread in which we will be revising kitsunoh's movepool. All aspects of his movepool, including TM moves, Move Tutor moves, Level-Up moves, and Egg Moves will be revised according to the limits listed below and the requirements listed in this process guide article. All process details for the revisions can be found in this thread.

Base Stat Rating & Movepool Limits:

This is where the BSR Overall Rating and Movepool Limit are decided. In accordance with this process guide article, all CAPs must have a Overall BSR limit that is balanced by the maximum of that CAP's Very Good Move (VGM) limit. The calculator for the Overall BSR of a Pokemon can be found here.

changelist:
added fer def and suck punch, both vgms, t-m, tutor.
removed (vgms) surf, elemental fangs, psychic, energy ball, aerial , brick break, and gyro ball.
removed (nonvgms) mudslap, strength, and role play.

Justification:

this was pretty easy; kitsunoh had a lenient requirement of 85/40 and he had a ton of shit moves like psychic and energy ball. the fangs went because they're just worse versions of the elemental punches and because i've never really seen kitsunoh as a fangy pokemon. i left the cutting moves because i decided that claws are more fitting than fangs. i might still remove super fang to be consistent, but i dunno yet. also i only had to add two moves so that was convenient.

complete list of moves that got the boot:
Surf, Energy Ball, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Psychic, Aerial Ace, Gyro Ball, Brick Break, Mud-Slap, Strength, Role Play Rock Slide, Payback
as you can see kitsunoh didn't lose anything that he remotely cared about so there isn't much to 'justify'

couple of changes still on my mind... how about meteor mash (a good move on metagross but nobody uses it on kits... still, it does have potential)? i wouldn't mind getting surf back on there because i think kitsunoh surfing is funny. he still has all of his cool tricks like torment, featherdance, and perish song, which i think is important on this pokemon.

added fury cutter because it wasn't there? ??? ?

My count on this per the spreadsheet is that you have 42 VGMs, not 39. So there still needs to be some cuts. Meteor Mash and Dark Pulse are probably the easiest things to drop without losing any utility, though Payback isn't that helpful either. If you get rid of these three, you can open up a slot for a VGM.

Unfortunately, Surf comes with Ice Beam and Blizzard attached, so there's no room to put it back. Bullet Punch however would be interesting, as it can deal effectively with Aerodactyl and help it revenge Scarftar.

For a few Non-VGMs if you want to add some flavor, Grudge fits, as does Me First for our "ultimate scout." Strength might also add a bit of flavor.

I would leave Meteor Mash on Kit. I think I'm the only person who ever uses it, but it is Kit's most powerful attack and I don't think it warrants removal.

Alrighty, finally got to reviewing this. My count on my spreadsheet hits 84/42, so you need to remove two moves. I suggest removing Meteor Mash and Magic Coat. Dark Pulse could also go as Deck suggested, although I really think that it would be good to keep it for flavor's sake. Also, you could get rid of Super Fang.

Otherwise, the movepool is fine. It is interesting to reminisce that both Shadow Force and Heart Swap were allowed on Kitsunoh's movepool. I'm sort of glad that neither got in. I have attached my spreadsheet for reference.

<Deck_Knight> Yo again tennis. Kitsunoh can be closed now. Dusk can take my word for a final check, I have the sheet posted.
