Huge Power in conjunction with Swords Dance turns Mega Mawile into a fearsome wallbreaker and sweeper, especially with its useful defensive typing, which allows it to force out and set up on metagame staples like Galarian Slowking, Alomomola, and Tapu Lele. Knock Off provides coverage against Fairy-resistant foes such as Toxapex and Ferrothorn, annihilating them after a boost, and severely cripples Heatran. Sucker Punch makes up for Mega Mawile’s poor Speed tier, preventing it from being revenge killed by faster Pokemon like Volcarona, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham. The given EV spread allows Mega Mawile to outspeed uninvested Corviknight. Intimidate is the chosen ability prior to Mega Evolving, letting Mega Mawile set up on physical attackers like Weavile and Rillaboom more easily. Mega Mawile appreciates being brought in safely via slow pivots such as Landorus-T, Galarian Slowking, and Alomomola due to its mediocre bulk. Entry hazard support from Ferrothorn, Hisuian Samurott, and the aforementioned Landorus-T synergize well with Mega Mawile, as they wear down its checks like Heatran and Garchomp into range of a boosted Sucker Punch. Mega Mawile is prone to being revenge killed if its offensive checks aren')t weakened, so it pairs well with a sturdy defensive core, such as Toxapex, Gliscor, and Rotom-W. These Pokemon also handle the Fire- and Ground-types that Mega Mawile is most susceptible to, such as Heatran, Volcarona, and Landorus-T. Lastly, due to Mega Mawile’s poor Speed tier, pairing it with speed control like Choice Scarf Kartana, Zamazenta, and Booster Energy Iron Valiant is best.

All-out Attacker Mega Mawile trades in its sweeping capabilities to be nigh impossible to check defensively with the plethora of coverage options it is gifted with. Ice Punch nails Ground-types like Landorus-T and Gliscor that attempt to pivot into it, while Thunder Punch lets it break through Toxapex and threaten Corviknight and Skarmory. Fire Fang destroys Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Iron Crown, and Ferrothorn, that otherwise shrug Mega Mawile’s attacks off. Knock Off specifically hits Galarian Slowking while also crippling Heatran and Volcarona. Lastly, Focus Punch can be used to completely break through Skarmory while still hitting the aforementioned Steel-types, but it is extremely prediction reliant. The given EV spread allows Mega Mawile to outspeed uninvested Mega Scizor. Intimidate is the chosen ability prior to Mega Evolving, letting Mega Mawile sponge hits from physical attackers like Weavile and Rillaboom more easily. Mega Mawile works best with late-game cleaners that appreciate it punching holes in opposing teams early on, so Choice Scarf Urshifu-R, Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Choice Scarf Kartana are amazing partners. Pivots such as Landorus-T, Tapu Koko, and Galarian Slowking also work well to safely bring Mega Mawile in throughout the match. Tapu Koko in particular also boosts Mega Mawile’s Thunder Punch damage, letting it pressure Toxapex and Corviknight harder. Entry hazard support from Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Gliscor, and Ting-Lu are also appreciated, as they wear down Pokemon trying to switch around Mega Mawile’s colorful coverage.

All-out Attacker Mega Mawile trades in its sweeping capabilities to be nigh impossible to check defensively with the plethora of coverage options it is gifted with. this sentence needs to be changed with the assumption that the reader is only reading this set (i.e. the reader shouldn't have to know that there are sweeping capabilities to be traded for this to make sense, it should already make sense on its own) Ice Punch nails Ground-types like Landorus-T and Gliscor who attempt to pivot into it, while Thunder Punch lets it break through Toxapex and threaten Corviknight and Skarmory. Fire Fang destroys Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Kartana, who otherwise shrug Mega Mawile’s attacks off. change every use of "who" to an object pronoun like "that/which" wherever applicable and replace the use of "resists" as a noun (e.g. Play Rough resists); otherwise this is good, 1/2

Sucker Punch makes up for Mega Mawile’s poor speed tier, preventing it from being revenge killed by faster Pokemon like Volcarona Ogerpon-W Not my favorite example because I’m pretty sure roost Volc can just outplay it decently easily and even if you get the sd off it isn’t exactly safe to click sucker into Volc (because flame body), Garchomp, and Mega Medicham. The given EV spread allows Mega Mawile to outspeed uninvested Corviknight. Maybe not too necessary but digging for calcs isn’t fun. Mega Mawile is prone to being revenge killed early in the match how do you know Mmaw will always be used at the start of a match specifically? It also functions well as a mid game breaker and even a cleaner in some albeit specific scenarios, so it pairs well with a sturdy defensive core, such as Toxapex, Gliscor, and Rotom-W. These Pokemon also handle the Fire- and Ground-types that Mega Mawile is most susceptible to, such as Heatran, Volcarona, and Landorus-T. Fire Fang destroys Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Kartana, who otherwise shrug Mega Mawile’s attacks off ok so although this is correct I wouldn’t say kart “shrugs off” mmaw’s attacks; ice punch is very likely to 2hko and is guaranteed after rocks and kart doesn’t 2hko back and is super unlikely to 2hko even after rocks. Either remove kart or change “shrug mmaw’s attacks off” to “check mmaw” in some manner that makes sense. Knock Off specifically hits Galarian Slowking Crown as well mayhaps? If not here mention crown in the fire fang section because otherwise crown just switches in avoiding an 2hko from tpunch (very unlikely to 2hko after rocks) and 2hkos back, while also crippling Heatran and Volcarona. Lastly, Focus Punch can be used to completely break through Iron Defense that’s the only skarm set Skarmory, while still hitting the aforementioned Steel-types and heatran heatran was already mentioned so I think this still makes sense, but is extremely prediction reliant. The given EV spread allows Mega Mawile to outspeed uninvested Mega Scizor.
