Introduction:
After seeing 2 instances of the Best of 3 Tournament for BW OU/UU/Ubers (and a 3rd one in semifinals), I think that BW RU/NU/LC should get such a tour in a similar format to the normal one for several reasons. (and not because the of the silly idea of lower tier versions of everything) For one, their low representation in the tournaments forum, as well as the wait for their respective XY metagames to develop, the likelihood of BW still being the most represented metagame in SPL, which will have some still playing these tiers, and the fact that it appeals to a different group of players then the 3 higher tiers.
Tournament-specific rules:
Best-of-3 format - 1 game must be RU, 1 must be NU, and 1 must be LC.
The first battle can be whatever the two players agree on, but after that game, the loser decides what tier will be played next, and if 1-1, the tier not yet played will be played (ex: BW RU, BW NU, 1-1, so BW LC must be played)

Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
Battle Timeout: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
Moody Clause: A player may not use a Pokémon with the ability Moody.
Any games not finished by the deadline (unless extensions are given) will be decided by coinflip, or an activity win will be given to the more active player
If you miss sign ups, you may apply to be a sub (via pm / posting on R1 thread) but no subs after round 1.
