SS Doubles OU It's Time For A New Chapter: 200th Post

Introduction
I just wanted to do something special for my 200th post since it seemed like a momentous occasion. I built this team some time ago right before the Urshifu-R suspect ended. So without further ado, here we go!

Teambuilding Process:
:genesect::zygarde:

I started with the core of Genesect + Zygarde since they do so well with each other. First, Genesect takes care of Kyurem-B, and Fairy and Grass types such as Tapu-Lele, and Rillaboom. In turn, Zygarde easily handeles the Fire-types that give Genesect trouble such as Incineroar, and Heatran. There are only a few Pokemon that could stand up to these 2, and our next slot handeles it nicely.
:genesect::zygarde::kartana:
Kartana provides TW alongside immense offensive pressure. It pressures the water-types that aren't hit super-effectivly by the duo's moves such as Urshifu-Rapid Strike, and Tapu-Fini. Its auto-crit Leaf Blades allows it to muscle through mons such as Zygarde and Indeedee, while also having a tool against resists such as Heatran and opposing Kartana with Sacred Sword. While that means that the team has stacked 2 4x Fire-Weak mons, thats nothing that cannot be fixed with teamates.
:genesect::zygarde::kartana::heatran:
Heatran not only provides a Fire immunity thanks to Flash-Fire, it works well under TW thanks to Eruption putting out huge power as long as it gets to move first. Earth Power lets it remove opposing Heatran while providing damage against Volcanion. Heat Wave is a alternitave to Eruption if Heatran is below 63 1/3 health. Even with no bulk investment, Heatran isn't blown away by a light breeze.
:genesect::zygarde::kartana::heatran::rillaboom:
Rillaboom not only provides recovery with Grassy-Terrain, its also a good offensive Pokemon in its own right thanks to the power-boost in G-terrain. Its Grassy-Glides provide priority in revenging mons such as CM Tapu-Fini, and Urshifu-R. Its Wood Hammer is a bonified nuke with minimum investment, and alongside Kartana, they form a potent Grass-Spam core that really only is stopped by bulky resists.
:genesect::zygarde::kartana::heatran::rillaboom::zeraora:
In my last slot I decided to pick Zera for a lot of reasons. First it has the fastest Fake Out in the west thanks to its amazing speed of 423 outspeeding even Dragapult. Next it provides other Utility in Knock Off to remove items, and Taunt to prevent Kart and Zapdos for getting up TW. Its Plasma Fists hits pretty hard allowing it to check mons such as Zapdos, Pelliper, and Tapu-Fini.

The Team in Full:
:sm/genesect:
:choice-scarf: Genesect @ Choice Scarf :choice-scarf:
Ability: Download
EVs: 108 Atk / 148 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Iron Head
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower
Genesect is probably one of the most fun Pokemon to use thanks to its great flexibility. Its movepool is probably one of the biggest in the entire game and it uses it extremely well. Its fast U-turn allows it to maintain momentum even in the small ocassion its walled. Iron Head is a powerful stab attack being able to knock down fairy-types such as Tapu-Lele and Diancie. Ice Beam is a great coverage move thanks to hitting Ground and Flying-types such as Zygarde, both Landorus forms, and both Zapdos forms. Finally, Flamethrower is effective against Steel types such as Kartana and Genesect.
:sm/zygarde:
:choice-band:Zygarde @ Choice Band:choice-band:
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Extreme Speed
- Superpower
- Thousand Waves
Zygarde and its Thousand Arrows allows it to act as a excelent Choice Bander. Thousand Arrows is usually the move to spam thanks to it having no immunities and only 2 resistances in Bug and Grass. Extreme Speed is able to revenge weakened Pokemon, while also outpacing moves with +1 priority such as Urshifu-R's Aqua Jet. Superpower allows it to hit Kartana and Kyurem-B for good damage. And Thousand Waves is a alternative to Arrows due to its trapping affect when there aren't any flyers on the field.
:sm/kartana:
:Scope-Lens:Kartana @ Scope Lens:Scope-Lens:
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Tailwind
- Detect
Kartana is not only the best TW setter, but its a fierce pokemon in its own right. Leaf Blade is a powerful move especially in conjuction with Scope lens having a 50% chance to crit, making it a chopping machine. Sacred Sword is a good coverage move for Steel types such as Heatran and opposing Kartana. TW is requisite on it so it can boost its teamates speed, and Detect is over Protect is to block Imprision. This spread in spesific is to stomach as much special attacks since it doesn't need to invest into its attack.
:sm/heatran:
:Charcoal:Heatran @ Charcoal:Charcoal:
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Eruption
- Heat Wave
- Earth Power
With its newfound power in Eruption (Thanks to it no longer having to have a Quiet Nature to use the move), its able to work really well under TW. Protect is here to increase its longevity. Heat Wave is a alternative spread Fire-type move in case if its below 63 and 1/3 health. And Earth Power is able to hit opposing Heatran, and Nihilego. Charcoal is the item of choice to boost its already powerful Fire-type attacks.
:sm/rillaboom:
:assault-vest:Rillaboom @ Assault Vest:assault-vest:
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 124 Atk / 100 SpD / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Grassy Glide
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
Rillaboom provides not only automatic Grassy Terrain with Grassy Surge, but also Fake Out. Grassy Slide provides good priority to revenge weakened pokemon. And Wood Hammer is a bonified nuke that is able to truck its way through defensive mons such as Mew and Toise. Finally, U-turn is a good pioviting move for RIlaboom being able to bring its dangerous teamate it. It also provides Kart with a great power boost. A AV is there so it can stomach special hits, and it being a bulky attacker.
:sm/zeraora:
:Sitrus-Berry:Zeraora @ Sitrus Berry:Sitrus-Berry:
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Plasma Fists
- Knock Off
- Taunt
The last team member to the team is Zeraora. It provides a fast Fake Out and Knock Off for Utility. Its Plasma Fists are powerful so it can provide offensive pressure. The last move is Taunt so that it can prevent opposing TW from getting up. Sitrus Berry is there so that it gets healing when in low health to keep on trucking.

Excellent work, good coordination, very good Core anti-room with Zeraora, well covered coverage. You have improved since the last time I saw you in these parts, good Team. you can vary in Hp for zeraora to have more stamina since your Weaknesses like volcanion you cover them with Zygarde and fini runs away from Rillaboom's Wood hammer. . speed control with Kartana. only volcanion or any Fire type like torkoal that is under trick room can bother but your set can Control it little by little.
