The ASB Arena prouds itself to introduce you to our battlers, on one side, one of our newest gym leaders, bringing a Trinity of fighters that are his personal mark, on the other, another great multiple battler, bringing his hottest team to date. Both looking for a battle to train their mons, and both hoping to be the one taking the victory home.

The sneaky Zant tries to surprise Bakom, but he manages to outsmart him, using his out attack to stagger Magmortar, and scare the team shirtless, though at the cost of a 2nd degree burn on himself, this momentary scare manages to unfocus the team, enough for Gallade to smash the team with an avalanche of rocks, which unbalances Jalhalla and throws him to the dirt, unable to move or defend itself from a second wave of rocks brought by the third ghost on the field.

Completely angered from all the damage they took Frosty's team is filled with burning hatred, and it's gonna make a good run of it, using it to fuel it's revenge by firing a concentrated wind, heated at an amazing two thousand degrees, and managing to harm the opposing team and cause a Gallade a painful burn, the second this evening, and weakening the team at the same time, though it seems not as much as it took. Birkal's team answers in kind, with a triple rock slide, able to drown the team in sturdy blocks and making Zen unable to move, making their health drop to a significant level, but at the price of their own health.​

Taking advantage of the state of the opposing team Zant starts teasing Bakom with it's maniacal grin, and with Bakom's quick temper it's easy for him to make him angry, completely forgetting to move in favor of getting into an argument with the diamond ghost. And while one side starts fighting with Yo Mamma jokes the other gets serious and uses that moment of Weakness to smash Bakom with all the energy he manages to focus on one point, doing some heavy damage to the punk lizard, Gallade tries to counter but his own burn takes away most of his strength and can only do a fraction of the damage of last round, though that might be a good thing considering it's own teammates were hurt by the rocks coming from the ground, Jalhalla abuses this and starts sucking the life out of Dambe, who not happy with such a move pays her back in kind, doing almost enough damage to compensate for his loss, but getting short. Zant on the other Hand can only laught at it and do the same against hiss other partner, getting back even more health to the team.

Trying to get back some health too Dambe punches Gouen critically hard, leaving him hanging from a straw of health, while getting out of the red zone himself, Scrafty snaps out of his curse battle and bites the flaming candles of Jalhalla, which thinking about it seems like a very silly idea but I guess being burned already he's not concern with his health as much as winning anymore, even Gallade tries to help him get rid of her, but sadly, he can only scratch Jal, who has enough health back to fire another round of fires toward the whole team, though that's a joke compared with the Exploding Nova that is Gouen's attack, burning Bakom over 900 °F, enough to completely ash the street pokemon, seems someone is well done for now.

With both opponents tired and at the edge, Gallade takes it's change and uses it to quickly assert one final attack upon the opposing Chandelure, who can't do nothing to prevent it's last remaining point to vanish in thin air as the flame over its head, Jalhalla drops to the ground defeated, even Zent who tries to save her companion is just too late for it to matter and can only imprison the move once it has been already used to finish her while Gouen is just too tired from the explosion of power last turn to even do anything to help. Dambe really uses this chance to use his own Earthquake to shake everyone on the field a bit, damaging Gallade and Zant and knocking Gouen out cold.

Zant is scared, it's outnumbered and it's health is at a critical point, so he tries to slash Gallade with it's ghostly claws, doing some damage even though he seemed to be containing itself for some reason, maybe the memory of scrafty's uglyness is still fresh or maybe he just didn't want to indulge in the anger of the sword master. Gallade is unflinched by this, as he focus his energies alongside Dambe to create the biggest Earthquake either of them has even seen, fracturing the field around them and reducing the few remaining hp of Zant to zero, giving Brikal the victory in this encounter.
