Flamestrike as a challenge acceptor I specify the following switch rule:

Switch=OK

Gale, since Speed-X specified all the rules in his challenge (and specifically said Switch=KO), it's expected that when you accept the challenge you go with whatever rules he set up. If he's willing to change to Switch=OK we can, but it's up to him. This also means that the battle is All Abilities, for the same reason.

And here we go! Speed-X is starting off with Topaz the Fennekin, and Gale is countering with Bubba Shrimp Co the Protowatt! Should be a good fight! Bubba leads us off, and wastes no time going on the offensive with a Muddy Water! It's a super effective blow and does some solid damage to Topaz! However, rather than striking back immediately Topaz drains some of his own life force and makes a Substitute! Interesting choice, we'll see if it pays off! Bubba prepares to make a Substitute of his own, but reconsiders and instead dives underwater! Just in time too as Topaz launches a Grass Knot at him, which misses! And then he comes right back and slams into the substitute with a Dive! However, the substitute just barely manages to hold firm! Bubba wastes no time in rectifying that though, as he nails the substitute with another Muddy Water, easily destroying it! As the substitute fades, however, Topaz launches a Hypnosis at Bubba! Bubba Shrimp Co fell asleep, but as the round ends the Protowatt nonetheless has the early lead! Can Speed-X and Topaz turn this around, or will Gale run away with a victory?

Thats fine. I don't mind having just one ability in play, but I'd prefer it to just be no switching since its really just 2v2 anyway, if thats cool.

Grass Knot ~ 15% Substitute ~ Wish

I kinda cant think of any subs. I know I may regret it, but I just am set on this.

Lets have the battle rules as is then.

Its cool to have Switch=KO, but Switch=OK makes the battle more interesting ;) I am cool either way.

If Protowott uses an Evasive/Protective move, replace--on the action said move in question was used--whatever move was originally to be used on THAT action with Chill.

If Protowott uses Mirror Coat at all in defense to a Special Attack from Fennekin, replace the action in this instance with Chill.

If these were worded too awkwardly, please let me know. Also, if there was a way I could have worded this using those preset phrases in the ASB handbook, please let me know of that, too, if you can. If I make mistakes I want to be able to know about them somehow. x]

Gale more or less nailed the wording for the first sub. For the second sub, his version works in this specific instance, but for a more general purpose version you might want "If he uses Mirror Coat when you would be using a Special Attack use chill instead". Also keep in mind that while your version of the Mirror Coat sub is fine, "If he uses a Special Attack use Mirror Coat" is most definitely NOT legal. Something to keep in mind.

If Protowott uses a Protective/Evasive move on Action 3, use Substitute (25).

Bubba welcomes our newcomer with some powerful offense before taking a breather to regain the energy he lost. Meanwhile Aquamarine takes some precautions to avoid being fried by Bubba's Electric attacks before retaliating with a resisted Scald attack that doesn't do nearly as much as Speed-X likely wants it to and leaves Bubba's substitute intact.

Muddy Water - Substitute(15 HP) - Muddy Water

If your substitute is present at the start of action 2, use Dazzling Gleam that action instead.

If you do not have a substitute when you would act, use Substitute (15 HP) that action instead.
