Arena:

World War 2 Gas Room. An enclosed stone room with dimensions of 20x20x2 Metres. There are 4 vents in the floor. Each turn there one will activate and release either toxic gas or flames that will last until the end of that turn. 50% chance for each. Flames will cause burns and Toxic gas will cause toxic level poisoning if a Pokemon comes in to contact with them. The floor is made of solid stone so it is impossible to dig.

So, here's how it works:

ILoveLiza sends out first pokemon.
Rediamond sends out first pokemon and issues commands.
ILoveLiza issues commands.
I do some number-crunching and battle-writing.
ILoveLiza issues commands.
Rediamond issues commands.
More number-crunching and battle-writing.
???
Profit!

Ok you can take this.

probably not but still you're going to try.

Let's Start by using Amnesia. Then use a Poison Jab finishing up with another Amnesia.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to today's World War 2 themed match! The pokemon will be battling in a gas chamber, once used by the Nazis to kill the Jews. But you don't want to hear about that, so let's get on with the match!

In the red corner, we have one of the most determined trainers I have ever seen, which isn't really saying much but oh well. Give it up for ILOOOOOOOOOOOOVELIZA! And in the blue corner, ILoveLiza's opponent has shown before that his pokemon can pull off some incredible moves, and his leadership skills aren't too shabby either. Raise the roof for REEEEEEEEEEEEEDIAMOND!

So, what pokemon are they going to send out?

Ah, a male Nidoran called Brum and a female Kirlia called Dreamer. Both pokemon have been through a lot with their trainers, but which one will prevail in this upcoming battle? I'm putting money on Dreamer, but I have known pokemon to overcome type disadvantages before.

As Dreamer builds up the energy for her Psychic attack, ILoveLiza tells Brum to start forgetting trivial things such as what he had for breakfast that morning. They say a clearer mind is more adept at weathering mental assaults, but will Brum's Amnesia happen fast enough to lessen the effects of Dreamer's attack?

... Yes, it looks like he was just in time! Even so, however, taking an attack like that can't be good for Brum. Nevertheless, somehow he finds the strength to fight back with a Poison Jab, which leaves a mark on Dreamer but she shrugs it off like it was nothing, instead channelling her energy into a Confusion attack. Unfortunately for ILoveLiza and Brum, this attack looks more powerful than a regular hit. I'd say that was a critical hit.

Finally, Brum is told once again to start forgetting things and his Amnesia helps him to take the next attack. Rediamond, seeing how the psychic attacks are troubling his opponent, orders Dreamer to fire another Psychic attack, which despite Brum's hugely increased resistance to mental attacks, deals a heavy blow to the Nidoran. Shortly after that, a vent in the corner starts spewing fire! That never happened during the war!

ILoveLiza, you're up. Good luck getting out of this predicament.

Far Out.

OK, Nidoran. You're going to be a team player. Attack the heel out of that thing so we can beat with the next Pokemon. Start with a strong Poison Jab. Then Follow it up with an Iron Tail pushing it near the next vent to open. Finish up with another Poison Jab.

Brum is just about able to land his Poison Jab on Dreamer but the Kirlia has a surprise for him. All that sudden forgetfulness last round goes to waste as Dreamer's mental waves suddenly materialise and the projectile is launched straight at Brum! This Psycho Shock almost knocks the Nidoran out but his fighting spirit keeps him going.

What's this? His tail is turning into metal! Before Dreamer can react, she is whacked by the Iron Tail straight onto one of the vents! It's a shame it isn't the one that's currently spewing fire. Dreamer doesn't seem disturbed by the fact that she's on a vent that could start expelling fire or gas at any moment as she launches another Psychic attack. This time, Brum's fighting spirit just can't handle the attack and he doesn't get back up.

The vent that fire was coming out of has now stopped. Unfortunately for Dreamer, the flames start coming out of the vent that she is on! Now the Kirlia has to contend with burns as well as whatever ILoveLiza chooses to send out next.

Adaptability: (Innate) The moves that match this Pokemon’s type deal two (2) more damage.

Ah, Eevee. The one pokemon that can evolve into seven different creatures. This match-up might go in ILoveLiza's favour, but Dreamer has proven her power quite a bit already.

Dreamer starts off by launching her usual Psychic attack, but it looks like Gem anticipated it and, with a Quick Attack, dodged the Kirlia's brainwaves and landed a small blow on her. Without wasting a single moment, Gem uses her own shadow to create a Shadow Ball and hurls it straight at Dreamer, almost knocking her over. Angry at being dominated like this, Dreamer starts converting her mental waves into a physical form for another Psycho Shock. This one looks more powerful than the last one, and judging by Gem's reaction, I'd say that was a critical hit! I think we've all learned a valuable lesson here: never piss off a Kirlia.

Gem goes in for another Quick Attack, this time hitting Dreamer with a little more than a bump, while Dreamer prepares to bombard Gem's mind with another Psychic attack. Gem can feel the rage coming from Dreamer's mind, and it's so strong that it's weakened his resistance to mental attacks. Finally, the flames from the other vent have stopped, instead being replaced by toxic gas coming from another vent in the far corner.

ILoveLiza, it's your turn.

Hit it with another Shadow Ball. If that doesn't finish it off then hit it with a quick attack as well.

Gem hits Dreamer with another Shadow Ball and the Kirlia is finally down and out ... but what's this? Dreamer appears to be using the last of her strength to tear at Gem's soul! Looks like she wants her to share her fate and it looks like this Destiny Bond is really crippling Gem! But it's not enough to take her down, and now Rediamond must select another pokemon to continue the battle. While waiting, Gem decides to chill out for a while and get her energy back.

Meanwhile, the vent that was spraying toxic gas has turned off and another one closer to Gem is spewing the same kind of gas. Luckily, the Eevee is not close enough to be affected.

There's not a lot left to do, so let's do it quickly. Let's go with a flurry of punches.
Thunderpunch~Fire Punch~Ice Punch

Wait, so did I get hit by the Destiny Bond?

Anyway. Three Shadow Balls. All aimed at the face.

Gastly* [Cloak] (Male)

I have to admit, sending a Gastly out against an Eevee who has already shown that she knows Shadow Ball isn't what I would have done if I were battling, but what do I know? Besides, Gem is looking rather worn out so maybe she won't be able to do much to Cloak anyway.

The orders are simple:Rediamond wants Cloak to use his ... whatever a ball of gas punches with, and hit Gem with a Thunderpunch, a Fire Punch and an Ice Punch. ILoveLiza gives the order to Gem for some more Shadow Balls. It almost looks like Gem might still be a potent threat to Cloak when the first Shadow Ball weakens his resistance to mental attacks, but ultimately she is only able to fire two Shadow Balls before being finished off by an ice cold "fist". Soon enough, the Gastly's Shadow Ball-induced anxiety has worn off.

Thunderpunch -> Shadow Ball lowered Cloak's special defence -> Fire Punch -> Shadow Ball -> Ice Punch KO'd Gem and Cloak's stat drop reset

Abilities:
Water Absorb: This Pokemon absorbs water attacks and instead of taking damage from them, recover HP equal to what the damage would have done.
Damp: This Pokemon releases a damp mist upon entry into battle that short circuits the opponent’s ability to use Selfdestruct or Explosion.

ILoveLiza is now pinning his hopes on his last pokemon: a Poliwag named Swirly. Swirly looks like quite a fast pokemon though and, seizing the initiative, starts spinning the spiral on his stomach to try and hypnotise Cloak. The Hypnosis works, putting the Gastly to sleep for a short while. Taking his sweet time, Swirly builds up some water and then suddenly shoots it straight at Cloak. The Hydro Pump immediately wakes him up and he retaliates with a well-aimed Thunderbolt, which as well as putting the hurt on Swirly, paralyses him, but not quite enough. Cloak suddenly has the speed advantage and he makes the most of it by firing another Thunderbolt, but this still doesn't scare the Poliwag. Swirly still has enough strength left to overcome his paralysis and shoot a Bubblebeam at the ghost. The elementally-charged bubbles aren't reacting too well with Cloak, who looks rather exhausted now and a couple more well-aimed attacks from Swirly could take him down. Meanwhile, toxic gas starts coming out of one of the vents a bit closer to the two pokemon while the one in the far corner switches off.

Your turn ILoveLiza.

Well, Brami/ILoveLiza timed out. Can we just end the battle, as it's kind of decided anyways (Vulpix has Energy Ball, Gastly has Thunderbolt and Energy Ball; a Poliwag can only take so much).

Yeah that and the fact that Brammi came dangerously close to the DQ time twice before mean it's probably best to call this battle.

Brammi's rewards:
Brum gets 1 EC, MC and DC.
Gem gets 1 EC, MC, DC and KO counter.
Swirly gets 1 EC, MC and DC.
Brammi gets 2 trainer counters.

Rediamond's rewards:
Dreamer gets 1 EC, MC, DC and KO counter.
Cloak gets 1 EC, MC, DC and KO counter.
The Vulpix gets nothing.
Rediamond gets 2 trainer counters.

Objection's rewards:
