<Klink> [Simplicity] (Genderless)
Nature: Mild (+SpA, -Def)
Type: Steel
Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Plus (Type: Trait)
This Pokemon possesses a positive electrical charge. When a partner Pokemon with Plus or Minus is on the field or if this Pokemon has Minus, this Pokemon’s special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2). If this Pokemon has both Plus and Minus, the boosts stack to a maximum Base Attack Power increase of four (4).

Minus (Type: Trait)
This Pokemon possesses a negative electrical charge. When a partner Pokemon with Plus or Minus is on the field or if this Pokemon has Plus, this Pokemon’s special attacks have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2). If this Pokemon has both Plus and Minus, the boosts stack to a maximum Base Attack Power increase of four (4).

Levitate (Type: Trait)
This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Clear Body (Type: Innate) [DW, Locked]
This Pokemon’s body structure makes it immune to status lowering moves used by opponents.

Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Abilities:
Telepathy (Type: Innate)
This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

Synchronize (Type: Innate)
Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison-types cannot be poisoned and Fire-types cannot be burned in this manner.

Tauros [Hugh Heffer] (Male)
Nature: Naive (+15% Speed, +19% Accuracy, -1 SpD)
Type: Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:

Intimidate: (Can be activated) When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.

Anger Point: (Innate) When struck with a critical hit, this Pokemon becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, its Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches stage zero (0). Critical hits from self-targeting moves do not activate Anger Point.

Sheer Force (DW): (Can be activated) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

Poliwag [Froggy] (Male)
Nature: Brave (+1 Atk, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type: Water: Water STAB; Can breathe and have excellent mobility when underwater, are less capable on land unless they are entirely amphibious.

Abilities:

Water Absorb: (Innate) This Pokemon absorbs water attacks and instead of taking damage from them, recovering 50% of the damage the water attack would have done. A Pokemon that attacks itself with water to heal only recieves 25% of the damage that attack would do to itself.

Damp: (Innate) This Pokemon releases a damp mist upon entry into battle that short circuits the opponent’s ability to use Selfdestruct or Explosion.

Swift Swim (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon with this ability moves extremely fast in slick, rainy conditions, doubling (x2) its Speed in the rain.

Wow! This is my first time reffing a first-timer! As Biobizbarto steps onto the field of battle for the first time, the fans roaring around him, UllarWarlord, the seasoned veteran, sends him a friendly greeting from across the field. Biobizbarto nods in aknowledgement, and with a quick flick of his arm, sends his first Pokemon into the stadium. As the ball pops open, a red beam of energy snakes out and then takes the form of Hugh Hefner:
300.hefner.hugh.091608.jpg

Err... I mean Hugh Heffer, the Tauros. Right. So anyways, UllarWarlord responds by sending out his new Pokemon E the Elgyem, and the battle begins. Hugh starts by charging towards E and stomping on her with a hard hoof. The swiftness and ferocity of Hugh's attack causes E to real back in pain and surprise, giving Tauros to leap high into the air and crash down right on top of the unlucky alien, paralyzing her. E finally manages to attack, striking Hugh Heffer with a burst of mental energy that causes him some pretty nasty pain. Hugh, angered now, charges again and stomps E for a second time, but this time she is ready and responds by firing a beam of mystic energy, striking Tauros in his shoulder. So far Biobizbarto has had an excellent starting match in ASB. Can he keep it up?

I'm not sure how the RNG works, but in the calculations for my first stomp it says "Crit: 580=Yes", but then the damage is the same as the second stomp "(9+4-1)+3+6-3=18 Damage!". Should the first stomp be 21 damage? Also for the psyshock it says "Crit: 373=No" should that be a crit or did you use a different scale than the one in the ref resource thread?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure everything out.

If Disable is used, replace disabled move with Horn Attack
If Teleport is used, replace that action with Pursuit

(Is that the proper way to do subs?)

About the Critical hit, that was a typo on my behalf. The first attack is not a critical hit. (When I ref, at a neutral critical hit stage, the RNG must score less than 63 to be a critical hit.)

As for your subs, they should be fine. Don't worry about them.

Elgyem fainted!

And we're back! The second round starts off just like the first one, with Hugh Heffer rushing in towards E and stomping its face in. E, used to the old trick by now, shakes it off and fires another beam of mystic energy towards Hugh, dealing ok damage. Next, Hugh leaps into the air, and slams into E for a second time. You know, I'm not one to judge, and they say that true beauty comes from within, but I'd bet money that after Hugh Heffer is done beating up this poor little alien, she's going to be one sorry sight. Elgyem, down but not out, fires off another Psybeam, maybe hoping to confuse the rampaging bull, but Hugh just shakes it off. Sensing E is soon to fall, Hugh charges in for one final attack and stomps on E's bruised face for a final time, KOing the small creature.

Hellooooooooo! Welcome back friends! The round begins when Hugh Heffer starts to get fancy, ducking its head and roaring. As he roars, five spouts of fire burst from the hard knobs on its head and crash upon Simplicity, striking it for a lot of damage. Kling responds by using its own fancy attack- Thunder Wave. It sends out a pulse of crackling energy, paralyzing the angry bull. Hugh Heffer then continues by... going to sleep? Apparently it thinks it can handle the healthier Pokemon, and catches a few Z's. Kling takes this opportunity to fire a Plus and Minus-boosted Flash Cannon, striking Hue for good damage, but that damage is mitigated as he begins to restore HP. The bull continues to nap, and Simplicity launches forwards and starts to grind his head between its gears, but apparently Simplicity is stronger at firing energy attacks than launching physical ones, and Hugh Heffer restores all of the health it lost.

After last round's rather... tiring actions, Hugh Heffer decides to sleep for one more action, allowing Simplicity to hit it once more with a powerful blast of flashing energy. Finally, Hugh Heffer's eyes snap open, and he immediately launches a roaring blast of fire at Simplicity, engulfing it in flame... but what's this!? As the smoke and flame clears, Simplicity is standing strong, a blue sphere- a protective barrier, fading around its body. Hugh Heffer, once again enraged at the act of defiance, stomps down upon Simplicity, doing even more damage than some neutral attacks and scaring Simplicity so bad it flinches! However, all of the rampaging Hugh has been doing has taken its toll, and his energy plummets to a dangerously low level. Will he survive the next round!?

Woah! My hair's standing up on end! As the round begins, Hugh Heffer begins by sitting down and relaxing... at least he's not sleeping this time. Simplicity takes the time to begin to charge up energy, sending crackling electricity through the air. Hugh Heffer continues to chill, and Simplicity, dumbfounded by the lack of action from Hugh, fires off another powerful Flash Cannon. Hugh Heffer, not really seeming to care any more, gets up and launches another Fire Blast at Simplicity, which once again is deflected by one of its nifty Protects. I sense things are about to get tense; these Pokemon have been preparing for quite some time now.

As both Simplicity and Hugh Heffer near their last legs, the trainers go to extremes to ensure victory. Hugh begins to go down low, preparing for something big, but despite the obvious warning signs Simplicity chills to restore its energy. Suddenly, Hugh Heffer uses all that stored energy to leap into the air, and then slam Simplicity to the ground, causing the ground to shake with the attack's power. As Hugh takes a break to get his energy back, Simplicity hits him with another Flash Cannon, and then sets up yet another barrier of protective energy as Hugh Heffer launches yet another Fire Blast.
