Nature: Brave nature (+ Attack,-10% evasion)
Type: Psychic; Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

About: Peter was captured after being over-powered by Rob's Crunch, his main characteristic are his remarkable inteligence (rivaling Twilight's) and braveness during combat,Peter strongly stands up for what he believes in and will fight until the bitter end.

Abilites:

Telepathy (Innate): This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple allies, allowing it to avoid taking damage from attacks that affect the whole field like Earthquake and Surf.

Synchronize (Innate):

Type: Ice

Summary: Ice STAB; immune to freezing and Sheer Cold, no vision loss or damage in Hail or snowstorm conditions, perfectly accurate and 30% Protect breaking Blizzard in Hail. Superior senses and mobility in frozen caves and other frigid arenas.

About: Aside from her physical difference betwen other Vanillite (wich Bosco described as ''delicious looking''),Fiona is a highly timid and modest pokemon, refusing to show off no matter what. Sadly, this also causes her to understimate her own fighting abilites. She greatly hates using her Taunt move, but will not hesitate to use it if she feels it is necessary.

Abilites:
Ice-Body (Innate):

This Pokemon thrives in Icy conditions and can absorb energy from Hailstones to recover two (2) HP/action in Hail.

Johnny met the group during a training section, becoming infatulated by Twilight (and to a lesser extent,Fiona),but she didnt feel attracted to him at all (Unlike Fiona, who blushed a bit),leading him to try and prove his power to impress her,Johnny fought Bosco, but was quickly and easly defeated (In part, due to his constant winking at Twilight),being captured shorty after.

...yeah right. Big News.

Anyway, let's start the reffing, k?

On this battle we have the Veteran Player Deadfox..

Hector: "Snooorlaaaax!" (translation: who is really good at beating you to a pulp!)

shuuuush...shut up.

erm...facing the newbie Matezoide on a little cup match!

Deadfox sends out Swoop the Gligar and Matezoide counter with Fiona the Vanillite. In terms of Type Advantage, Swoop is in a tough spot, but let's see how it pans out.

Swoop starts the match by Digging a hole away from Fiona's taunting insults. Some time later it surfaces below her and attacked for some good damage.

Like the partner of the animal his master killed, Swoop had a bad feeling about this and prepared his retreat with U-turn. But Fiona apparently intends to stay for a while, as she sets up with Autotomize.

Finally, Swoop digs yet another hole, but this time Fiona is busy elsewhere, summoning a mighty Hail to heal her wounds and hurt her opponent. Sometimes later, Swoop delivers a happy surprise, damaging Fiona in the Process.

Gligar: diggin'

Vanillite: Taunt for 10 energy - failed

Hail for 3 rounds

Given that all three of his mons are weak to ice (...are you IAR in disguise?), Deadfox sends out the only that can fight back with SE move: Slam the Onix.

And Fiona starts this match by using Blizzard, fueled by the hail to damage onix and try to push back the rocks that weren't even thrown at the field. Speaking of them, Slam covers Matezoide's side of the arena with Stealth Rocks.

Since the disruptive strategy failed, Matezoide goes offensive, as he ordered Fiona to attack with Water Pulse and the lucky gal gets a Sereve Confusion (3 turns) in the process. But Slam is a tough cookie and overcomes the Confusion to also attack with Stone Edge.

Finally, somehow faster, Slam uses his extremely superior weight to make Vanillite pancakes with Heavy Slam, overcoming confusion once again. But fiona survives and fights back with Ice Storm, a powerful blizzard that defeats Slam at the price of leaving Fiona extremely tired.

to be continued...

Vanillite: Blizzard: (11 + 3 + 3)*1.5 = 25.5 damage for 7 energy
Crit:11 (no)
Freeze: 2 (no)
NOTE: Vanillite is faster and the rule is "waiting is not an option, since your opponent can wait too", so when Blizzard is used, there will be no Stealth Rocks on the Field, so it can't push them anywhere. If Vanillite was slower we could consider the possibility of that working (probably with the same 30% chance protect has and a power reduction).

And Peter the Elgyem is sent to face the dangerous Swoop the Gligar. And Gligar doesn't waste any time and already uses his acrobatic abilities to say his "hello"! Peter is annoyed by it and stops the Gligar in middle air with its Psychic powers and throw it on a wall for critical damage.

Impressed by the power displayed, but not fazed by it, Swoop continues the offensive and traps Peter in a Sand Tomb. Cornered, Peter devises a Nasty Plot to try and get out of it.

Finally, Swoop resorts again to his Acrobatic capacities. But this time he adds some extra power just to show who is the boss, resulting in a Critical Hit. Peter still doesn't know how to get away of the Sand Tomb, but he does know how to inflict pain, and he uses a metal bat his Psychic powers to do so.

At the end we have a Gligar still fairly healthy...but the same can't be said about his opponent's Elgyem. Oh well. That is life.

I noticed a few mistakes.

1) Gligar`s HP should be 57 (16 + 16,5 + 6 = 38,5)
2) Gligar`s attack is 3 and Elgyem`s Defense is 2,so the damage from each move should be lowered by 1,5.

Not like these will help much though.....

Swoop begins this round by showing his acrobatic skills....again. What a show-off. After that, Peter also gets annoyed and sets up Trick Room, so he now has the time to stop the Gligar before it does that again.

BUT it couldn't stop priority and Swoop exploited that, as it attacked and ended this matchup with a combination of Quick Attack + Faint Attack. KO.
