"Well, without further ado, let me introduce the battlers."

"In the red corner, we have Dummy007, the Hammer Bros. maniac and great guy overall."
Team Dummy:
329.png

Vibrava [Mormon] (M)
Nature: Lonely (Adds One (1) Rank to Attack; Subtracts One (1) Rank from Defense)
Typing: Ground/Dragon
Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.
Dragon: Dragon STAB; more in touch with legendary or special auras in arenas. Able to use Thrash without losing focus.

Abilities:
Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.
Levitate (DW): (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Nature: Brave (Adds One (1) Rank to Attack; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks)
Typing: Grass
Grass: Grass STAB; Immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming “powder” attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.

Abilities:
Chlorophyll: (Innate) During bright sunlight, this Pokemon’s cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.
Early Bird: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to waking up at early hours or operating in low-light conditions and subsequently sleep status is automatically reduced by one intensity level when inflicted on this Pokemon. When the Pokemon uses Rest they will gain 18 HP per action and only be asleep for two actions.
Pickpocket (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's mischievous nature and greed make it very effective at pawning off an opponents item. If this Pokemon has no item and either it or the opposing Pokemon strikes with a contact attack, their item is stolen and becomes the held item of this Pokemon. Pokemon with Pickpocket can be commanded to swap items with an ally, and only they will need to expend an action to do so because of their swifter sleight of hand.

Lairon [Korangon] (M) (OT: Maxim)
Nature: Adamant (Adds * to attack, Subtracts * to Special Attack)

Type:
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
Rock: Rock STAB; Take 2 less damage from all special attacks during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities:
Sturdy: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Rock Head: (Innate) This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Heavy Metal (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its weight. When it uses a full-body attack or a weight-based attack it will do more damage, and it will be much harder to lift, throw, or knock back.

Abilities:
Overgrow: (Innate) When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any grass attack is increased by two (2). (eg Giga Drain goes from 8 to 10, Solarbeam from 12 to 14)
Unburden (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is incredibly possessive. If it uses or loses an item in battle its rage swells and its speed doubles (x2) until it receives another item.

Round 1: Meeting up with an old friend.

Welcome everybody to the first round of this match! Right now the stage is set, Dummy's Vibrava Mormon vs. Galladiator's Lairon Korangon. Hey wait a minute, that Lairon used to be mine before I traded it. I'm rooting for you buddy (even if the RNG is not).

The battle begins somewhat anticlimactically with Lairon putting up a green Protective barrier while Vibrava Focuses his Energy to prepare for more critical hits. At least Lairon managed to avoid an Earthquake.

At this point, Vibrava notices something rather off about Lairon, and decides to go on the offensive before something bad happens. Suddenly the ground erupts under Lairon's feet, the Earth Power knocking it into the air. However, this seems to be what Lairon wanted! Oh dear, what is this? This seems to be...yes it is, a Heavy Smash combo, this is going to hurt. Lairon descends upon his foe in a mighty strike...

.................................................

HOW DID IT MISS!?

Well, that's going to hurt, and while Lairon is trying to recover from the shock of landing headfirst into the ground, Vibrava sends out an Earthquake that does massive damage to Lairon.

I'll be honest with you folks, I'm not sure how Galladiator is going to make it out of this one, especially because he's going first next round. Will he make it out of here alive? Stay tuned to find out.

Yes I know that sub doesn't make any sense. It wasn't meant to have any noticeable effect.

Round 2: Dummy's Victory Lap.

Welcome back folks! Last we left out competitors we saw Galladiator get shafted by the Random number generator by having one of his moves miss, and Vibrava dealing massive damage to Korangon. Can Galladiator get out of this mess? Only one way to find out!

Anyway, Vibrava decides to up the ante and Dig underground and make Lairon's Heavy Slam attack hit dirt. I feel like I've seen this before. Anyway, while Lairon starts cussing out Random.org as per master's orders, Vibrava comes up and deals solid damage.

Vibrava, seeing an opportunity, then sends out a seismic wave across the field. While the stadium is built to withstand the Earthquake, Lairon certainly isn't and...

............................................

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!

Well, apparently a large post broke off the stadium and landed right onto the Lairon. Yep, you guessed right, that's a critical hit. With it's last breaths Lairon cusses out Random.org with a fury unlike any other, then faints.

Uh...does anyone see any way for Galladiator to win now? Vibrava and Nuzleaf are both at full health, and Galladiator is down 1-2...

Well, cya guys after the break.
