Welcome, one and all, to the annual ASB Town Super Contest! We've already had the appeal round, so let's continue with our next portion: Battles!

Flavor is more likely to work means that if the user uses a move unconventionally, you as the ref should accept the use as long as it makes any sense at all. For example, Trainer Y tells his Snivy to use Leaf Tornado to block an icy wind. Normally, this would fail, but if the pokemon is cool, it does work somewhat, because it makes a little sense. That said, using tackle to stop surf would never work. This is largely up to your discretion.

will you let me go? BISMILLAH! NOOOOO! WE WILL NOT LET YOU GO! In fact, we will throw Ice Beams and Solarbeams at you, Gaia, dealing absolutely massive damage! What will you do in response? Why, its a combination that would never work in a thousand years, but somehow does here because that Nincada is just SO. FUCKING. COOL. Kicking air with the creation of the clones? Amazing!

As Gaia has to recover from that exhausting combo, Yum makes a giant wave that comes crashing over Gaia, even through the blindness! It looks like Gaia will take a lot of damage from that... or not! It appears that all 3 of the Gaias hit were clones, and they just poofed away! Meanwhile, Aww tries to regain health from Synthesis, but all that dirt in the sky makes it hard for her, and she barely recovers anything!

Due to a mistype, Yum protects himself from an attack that's not even aimed at him while Aww just sits and regains some energy! Looks like Gaia's going to get off a free X-Scissor for some massive damage!

Will Gaia be able to stall out Yarnus' team, or will the two Normal-types crush the Bug-type under their combined feet?

As we begin what may just be our final round, Aww jumps straight into the air and stays up there while Yum spits out a pillar of fire, incinerating Gaia... 's clone! As the real Gaia lunges at the airborne Aww, he misses with his X-Scissor, only to get kicked in the face!

Apparently worrying about her HP, Aww gathers the power of the sun to revitalize her again, but it still doesn't recover much due to all of the dust in the air! Yum then spits out another beam, but this time, its a pillar of ice, nearly KO'ing Gaia! In response, Gaia picks up his arms again as scissors, and slashes at Aww once again, dealing massive damage as always!

As Aww jumps into the air for a second time, Yum fires off a mighty Flamethrower... and Gaia falls down! He can't take any more! He fainted!
