Dragonite ♂ - Oros
Nature: Rash (SpA: +1, SpD: -1)
Type: Dragon / Flying
Dragon Type - Dragon STAB; More in touch with legendary or special auras in arenas. Able to use Hyper Beam and Giga Impact without losing focus.
Flying Type - Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

(DW) Multiscale - (Innate) This Pokemon has sturdy scales to protect it from an opponent's attacks. If this Pokemon is at their maximum HP when a round starts, all damage done to this Pokemon during the round will be halved.

Status Moves - Agility, Endure, Leer, Light Screen, Protect, Reflect, Roost, Safeguard, Substitute, Thunder Wave

Eldest of a clutch, Oros made the mistakes that his siblings learned from, teaching him caution and prudence. Honed to figurative keeness, Oros is finally large and in charge. His dramatic jump in strength may have gotten to his head, however, as he still exhibits his same impulsive tendencies. Only now, though, his impulses are more often correct.
[a]Koffing[/a]

Koffing ♂ - Smogon
Nature: Quiet (SpA: +1, Spe -5, Evasion -10%))
Type: Poison
Poison Type - Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.

Abilities:
Levitate - (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Stiffled by acting as a living mascot, a parade pet or trophy mon, Smogon has finally found his way into the hands of a battling trainer. Ready to partake in the activity he's grown to represent, Smogon is nonetheless reserved and focused on his new, wearying path.

Black Sulfur Caldera

Black Sulfur Caldera is a deep and blackened pit that once erupted in a massive fiery explosion many hundreds of years ago. The terrain is now mostly barren with torched and odorous burns across its face. Nothing lives within miles of the area—not even Fire-type Pokemon—as the land is so inhospitable that very little can sustain life above ground. At the base of the caldera, however, exists a small pit that has recently opened up due to seismic activity. Some Pokemon trainers have ventured into the pit to explore, only to return with their whole Pokemon team fainted and them babbling nonsense about the magma demon therein. Intrigued, you prepare your Pokemon and decide to explore it yourself. Hopefully you'll find yourself better prepared than those others before you.

You enter the pit carefully, taking baby footsteps deeper into the earth. The path seems long and sinuous; as the path keeps on twisting about, all you can see in front of you is hard-packed dirt. Occasionally, rocks and other pointy objects protrude out from the wall, forcing you duck underneath, jump over, or simply smash them. After what seems to be an eternity, though, the path finally opens up, and you find yourself in a cave.

You stand up straight and observe your surroundings. There's nothing much to note; it's a rather small cave, with tough, blackened sides. However, the air is rather humid, even though you see no water around you. Rocks are dotted about, but none of them really pose a big threat to you. Content, you decide to move on.

As you approach the exit, however, you hear a scuffling sound. Backing up, you wait patiently. Two Pokemon come out from the exit, looking curiously at you. Then, they attack.

ARENA: BOULDER MAZE

Rocks are everywhere, and the darkness seems all-consuming. There is a faint glow about the arena that allows your Pokemon to almost see, but at the same time, they just can't aim properly in this blackness. There is no water anywhere nearby, but nothing about the arena seems to hinder you in any other way. Hopefully all of the areas you battle in here will be this benign.

Arena Type: Cave.

Rocks are everywhere, and the darkness seems all-consuming. There is a faint glow about the arena that allows your Pokemon to almost see, but at the same time, they just can't aim properly in this blackness. I will give Stortamus a break & swap him out for Onix.

Smoke Geysers

As you continue in the rocky maze, you come upon an area more open than the others with numerous holes poking out of the ground. You approach them cautiously, and suddenly find that they erupt at random and let out intensely overheated smoke that prevents you from seeing effectively. You need to get by, and you can either creep around carefully or dive through them. What do you do?

Player Options
a) Creep around and avoid the geysers.
b) Charge through the geysers.

Black Sulfur Caldera
Sand Pit

You come upon a wide, circular room, and find that the texture of the very floor seems to have changed as you walk onto it. The floor is covered in slightly grainy sand, and looks eerily ominous. You can tell that something bad is going to happen here, though you honestly don't know what. There are few options available to you. You can either walk over the sand to the other side, or you can attempt to navigate the boulders on the westward side of the room where the sand doesn't appear to be. What do you do?

Player Options
a) Walk across the sand.
b) Navigate the boulders.

You may also use healing items if you wish.

Random approached the Geyser room & the Geysers were constantly spurting up hot steam. Random could've been brave & went through them, but who knows what would happen if he went through them? Perhaps it would be best to take the safer route around the Geysers...And with that, Random went around the Geysers...

a) Creep around and avoid the geysers.

Aditionally, Onix should have 62 energy, since it broke free once...

NB: I've got the RP order right, don't worry.

You ignore the crevice and continue on your way. Whatever is down there is surely too unnecessary for your success in this pursuit. You must keep your eyes on the goal, and so press on with your team on your heels.

Black Sulfur Caldera
Magma Cavern

As you continue, you head down a flight of what seem to be man-made stairs, formed out of assorted chunks of stone. You enter what seems to be a pit full of lava; astonished by what you see, you can only gape open-mouthed at the cavern. Your Pokemon, however, are slightly more wary—they nudge you until you see the two Pokemon standing by the exit of the cavern. They don't seem friendly towards intruders.

Magma Pool

The heat is stifling, but not to the level of being painful.. Yet. The sheer heat of the arena causes the environment to be as if the sun was shining brightly, even underground. Pokemon seem to exist within the lava and will erupt forth to assist your enemies through some mechanism you don't quite understand.

Arena Type: Cave
No water source present.
Weather: Stifling Heat—Unchangeable Sunny Day
Every five (5) rounds of combat, a Pokemon will burst forth from the lava to join the enemy team in battle.

(DW) Overcoat - (Dormant) - (Innate) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather.

Bellistar was a sort of privileged birth—specially selected from a clutch for use by a battling trainer. Compensating for her standing is often difficult, and she finds herself leaving things unmentioned out of fear of being perceived as uppity or snobbish.
Oros - Reflect | Chill
If Brick Break is ordered at any point, Roost action 1 instead.
If Gigalith orders a damaging Rock-type attack targeting you, Roost on that action and push actions down.

Smogon - Pain Split (M) | Chill
If Magmortar uses Protect on action 1, Chill and push actions down.
If Magmortar orders Taunt against you action 1, Protect and push actions down.

Bellistar - Hydro Pump (M) | Power Gem (M)
If Magmortar orders Taunt against Smogon action 1, Thunder Wave it action 1 and Protect Smogon action 2.

The two Guardians seem to easily harness the sun, knocking Iron Chain out before it can do anything. Then, Camerupt unleashes an explosion of flame and magma, severely denting your two remaining Pokemon; Sleast and Shockish retaliate with bursts of dirty water, but the sun manages to evaporate some of the away. While you've left them slightly blinded, they still look pretty strong.

After that, Magmortar and Camerupt team up on Sleast, knocking it out in two quick bursts of sunlight. Shockish explodes the ground underneath Magmortar, but it doesn't seem to be enough...
