Everybody should know this by now. Puff sends out Pokemon, Maple sends out Pokemon + actions, Puff responds, etc. etc.

I'll be gone for two days, but hopefully it won't matter.
 
Puffin (a.k.a Serge) walks into his natural habitat: The Swamp.
Normally, there are just pokemon, but trainers stop by; like now.

"Pika, let's show this guy who's the boss."
 
Strange that this didn't notify me it had been updated.

M. advanced cautiously through the swamp. He figured that this would be a good place to train his Joltik, since insects tended to like swampy areas. However, he did not expect to find other intelligent life hiding amongst the mists.

"Well, what have we here?" M. wondered aloud upon seeing another moving figure in the distance. He saw, upon drawing closer, that behind all the logs and through the water, it were another trainer! On a small patch of solid ground, preparing to do the same thing M. had planned on doing, with a Pikachu. M. decided to get the jump here.

"Go, JolTIK! Lead with your Thunder Wave! Next, put up a little Light Screen, stay safe. Finally, tie down that tricky foe with a Spider Web--anchor him to a tree or something so he'll stay still."
 
So, JolTIK, eh? Alright, here's the plan.
First, find a tree, and Volt Change it. Then, Nasty Plot. Finally, HP it.

Round One Start!

Welcome to the glorious swamp, where it is astonishing not to find Muk and muck around. We've cleared out most of the gaseous and liquid poison matter, but the little piles of garbage seem to be stuck to the ground; they seem impossible to get rid of! Let's just hope these trash piles aren't anything alive...

Today we have two fearsome competitors: Pichu and Joltik. I'm sure this battle will be amped up!

As the sludge-covered gun that marks the start of a race is fired off into the air, Pika the Pichu immediately leaps into action. Using some of his limitless electric power, Pika zooms straight at JolTIK, hits her for some minor damage, and propels himself into a faraway tree. JolTIK seems a bit confused, but manages to send a small spark of electricity at Pika; unfortunately for her, the tough bark of the tree nullifies the electricity.

Meanwhile, in the tree, Pika attempts to devise a plan to defeat his seemingly superior opponent. The cruel thoughts have a side effect of stimulating his rodent brain, increasing his Special Attack by two stages. JolTIK is oblivious to this plotting and summons a large golden box that encases the little electric spider.

Pika scoots himself out of the tree, and finds JolTIK. It's a relatively easy task, considering the fact that yellow is quite contrasting against the greys of the swamp; it also helps that JolTIK is encased in a large golden box of sorts. Pika sends out a ring of energy towards JolTIK; some of it seems to disappear when passing through the box, reducing the damage that JolTIK takes. JolTIK responds by squirting some webby substance at Pika, which pins it against the tree it just came out of.

JolTIK, take advantage of the Pichu's struggles to get Thunder Wave done right this time. Then, Chill for a moment and enjoy the struggles of your vicitim. When you're ready, Charge Beam it, prepare to go on the offensive.

Round Two Start!

Welcome back to the murky swamp, where all but the bravest souls steer clear of. Some Stench has made its way over, and the trainers seem to be afflicted by a weird fit of coughing. I wonder what that could be?

By the tree, one can see a small electric mouse trapped in a web. He's pinned to the tree by an eerily large web, but Pika seems to be doing pretty well. Using his pointed ears, he slices parts of the web open, but he's still somewhat immobilized. As soon as Pika cuts free, JolTIK takes the opportunity to shoot another small spark of electricity in the general direction of Pika. This time, it hits spot on, tingling his spinal cord and paralyzing the Pichu.

Both combatants suddenly freeze in their movement, but their purposes are very different. JolTIK just relaxes in the swamp, allowing the soothing stickiness of the swamp to chill his muscles, restoring 12 energy. Pika furrows his almost nonexistent eyebrows, plotting yet another way to defeat his spidery opponent, raising his Special Attack by two stages.

JolTIK and Pika get moving as abruptly as they stopped, both shooting identical beams of excess electricity. One shoots under and one shoots over, creating to horizontal bars of electricity. Both combatants take some damage, and the excess electricity get absorbed back into Pika's system, raising his Special Attack by another stage.

M. bawww'd. "You best be trollin, JolTIK, that's a poor performance. Spider Web again, then hide behind a tree so your foes' attacks won't hit you. Then, create a Light Screen while you're safe behind the tree. Test the waters with a Bug Buzz after you're done with that."
 
Alright, Volt Change behind a different tree, then create a new plan of distruction. Finally, blaat one laat Charge Beam. Lets take it to the hoop!!!!

Round Three Start!

After hearing her trainer yell at her for a poor showing, JolTIK has no choice but to continue to try her best. She shoots another large web at Pichu, who has not yet gotten the chance to escape back into the tree. Now immobilized, Pika attempts to strike JolTIK with a Volt Change. The attack succeeds, but he is unable to move anywhere else due to the sticky nature of the eerie web. It seems that he's going to have to use his ears as a Swiss Army Knife sometime soon again.

Realizing that the golden box around her is starting to fade into transparency, JolTIK takes advantage of her immobilized opponent to summon the golden walls of the box again. They immediately reappear, shining with a light-like substance that seems solid but really isn't. Pika isn't quite too happy about the walls reappearing again, and creates yet another plan to destroy something or another, raising his Sp.A by two stages.

Finally going on the offensive, JolTIK uses her natural buggy powers to launch some powerful soundwaves at the little Pichu, dealing a significant amount of damage. Pika quickly responds, shooting another small beam of electricity at JolTIK with the excess electricity left in his body. The attack deals a significant amount of damage even as it is weakened by the walls, mainly due to the massive power boosts Pika has managed to acquire.
