Arena: The roof of a tall skyscraper. There is a very large railing protecting anyone from falling off. There is a 25% chance at the start of each round of that a large airplane passes overhead, drowning out noise and preventing sound-based moves (Yawn, etc). They don't fly close enough to hit any pokemon however.

-Charmander- was walking through New York, New York with Cloud, Pearl, Breeze and Mantis. Suddenly, Cloud started to float away. -Charmander- began to chase Cloud but, it flew too high. -Charmander- used told Mantis to bring Cloud down. With his claws, Mantis grabbed Cloud and brought him back to -Charmander-. However, Cloud insisted on going up, so -Charmander- told Breeze to use her psychic powers to let them go up. -Charmander-, went up and up and up...and up and eventually reached the top of the building. There standing on top, was porygon3 train his pokemon vigorously. Just as -Charmander- stepped onto the roof when a Flame Burst from porygon3's Numel came flying towards him. -Charmander- dodged the Flame Burst but pearl was not as lucky. The Flame Burst hit her hard and she went flying off the roof. "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" screamed -Charmander- as he saw the Clampearl fall to the ground below. Breeze however, had used the time to set up a psychic barrier to stop Pearl from falling to her doom. -Charmander- commanded Cloud to go get Pearl, and soon the frightened but safe Clampearl was back on the roof. -Charmander- outraged at porygon3 immediately sent out Cloud to attack him. porygon3 sent out Sludge, and the battle began. Cloud began Danc(e)ing and Rain began to pour from the sky. Sludge, upset at the pouring rain Cursed insults at Cloud. Mysteriously, while he was cursing at the Duclohm, he got stronger and slower. Upset at these power-ups -Charmander- ordered a Roar. Cloud flew into the air and roared as loud as he could. Everywhere in New York people heard the roar and went running towards the skyscraper. The roar and made Sludge weaker once more. Upset at these changes, Sludge used Payback to even the score. With the rain, Cloud was able to control the Thunder very easily. He carefully aimed it at the Grimer and then it struck. The rain had made it very easy to control the Thunderand it hit Sludge critically. Sludge used the pollution from all around New York to shoot Gunk at the Duclohm. However, the overwhelming amount of pollution was to much for the Grimer, and he was unable to properly control the gunk. -Charmander- saw that Cloud had forgotten how to use Thunder, so he decided to use Thunderbolt instead. The electricity for the Duclohm gathered, and shot at the Grimer at extreme voltages. The Grimer suffered the pain and wanted Payback. He flung himself at Cloud, and the Duclohm went flying backwards. -Charmander- remembered the rain and once again, Cloud used the rain to shoot a Hydoro Pump at Sludge that caused him to fly straight into a garbage can. Sludge suddenly got an idea! He went deep into the garbage and slowly he absorbed it into his skin. As Cloud looked around to find Sludge, he slowly gathered more and more gunk. Then, at the right time he shot the entire gunk at Cloud. Cloud, outraged at Sludge, gathered as much electricity as he could. Slowly, he prepared his Thunderbolt. However, as he was about to shoot it at Sludge, a large airplane flew past. The airplane blocked the Thunderbolt and porygon3 was relieved at the survival of Sludge. However, Cloud had gathered the electricity so critically that the Thunderbolt manage to break through the airplane, and hit Sludge hard. The Grimer, electrocuted and soaking wet, fell onto the ground, fainted. When Cloud killed the Grimer, he became stronger. He felt power coursing through his body. Slowly, he began to glow. He became bigger and soon he became a Cychlohm. The powerful Cyclohm roared and all around he was heard. Porygon3 nervously sent out Frogger the Poliwag. The Poliwag nervously attacked with an Ice Beam. However, Cloud began to charge up electricity. An electric bubble formed around his body. The Ice Beam went through the bubble, and was severely weakened before it could reach Cloud. With the charged up energy, Cloud fired a powerful Thunderbolt at Frogger. With its new evolved form, and the charged up energy, the damage it did was incredible. Frogger went flying backwards and fell of the roof!! However, the Poliwag used its Psychic powers to left itself upwards. Not only was Frogger saved, but the Psyhchic waves also damaged Cyclohm’s brain. Once again, Cloud shot a powerful Thunderbolt at Frogger, and the little Poliwag fell to the ground. Barely able to move, Frogger sent an Ice Beam at Cyclohm. The Ice Beam managed to crack through Cloud’s electric barrier and hit him straight in the face. The dragon roared with pain and fell to the ground exhausted. With the mighty Cloud fainted, -Charmander- sent out Mantis, ready to avenge his friend Cloud. Immediately, Mantis went flying towards the Poliwag preparing to knock it off with a powerful Wing Attack. Wanting to escape the powerful attack, porygon3 ordered Hypnosis. Frogger’s belly began to glow and the light made –Charmander- almost fall onto the ground asleep. However, -Charmander- had cleverly ordered Mantis to look away and the Hypnosis missed. Although, Mantis had managed to escape the Hypnosis, -Charmander- was not as lucky. He was lying down on the ground, napping. Mantis was confused about what to do, so he decided to use the sharp his claws. They slashed in an X as sharp as scissors. Frogger, already hurt from Cloud’s many electric attacks, fainted and -Charmander- won the matching. However, he was asleep so the match was declared a tie! (joking :p)

EDIT: if you guys could give me feed back on my reffing I would really appreciate it. Btw i won't be able to ref till Monday, so be patient till then.

Everybody should look at this!

Go Duclohm with Shield Dust!
PS Fire Blast your reffing is great. The raw data makes it easier to keep up with things and such. Keep it up! ^_^

edit: I'm a dumbass. Sheer Force is locked so I'll just go with Shield Dust instead.

Go, Sludge! (since I think my arena stops Numel from using Earthquake and such lol.......)

Start off with Taunt, but if he uses Rain Dance I want you to curse at him instead. Then hit him with a Payback, followed by Gunk Shot.

Taunt/Rain Dance - Payback - Gunk Shot

you need to specify your ability

anyway, start off with Rain Dance. Roar away the Curse, and finish with a big, yummy Thunder.

It says we're playing with all abilities though

Also Fire Blast my first order should say Taunt/Curse as it does in the beginning, not Taunt/Rain Dance. I'm not editing my post because Charmander already posted his orders and I don't want to lead to any "oh he edited????" but just making sure you know before you ref it.

Damn, Thunder is strong. Let's try to do as much damage as we can this round. Try Thunder ~ Hydro Pump ~ Thunder

Alright Sludge, that round was rough, let's see if we can get anything going this time. Start with a Payback. Then I want you to use Disable, preventing him from using Thunder! Finish off with a Gunk Shot and let's see if we can poison him (or at least not miss)

Clearly, -Charmander- was happy with the success of the Thunder from before. He ordered Cloud to use Thunder once more and Cloud began to focus. Suddenly, the electricity hit Sludge hard and he went flying backwards. Sludge wanted Payback so he attacked the Duclohm. Duclohm managed to stand his ground, and decided on his next attack/

This time, Cloud tried a different approach. He gathered the water from inside his body and sent it towards the Grimer. The pouring rain added to the Hydro Pump and the Grimer was smashed into the ground. Still hurting from the previous Thunders, Sludge decided that he was sick of it. He Disabled the Duclohm from using the move again.

The next turn Cloud tried using Thunder once more. However, no matter how much he tried he could not remember how to control the Thunder. Taking advantage of this, Grime used Gunk Shot. This time he was able to control the gunk properly and Cloud right in the face. The toxins from the gunk began to sink into Cloud’s body but the dust surrounding his body prevented the toxins from doing any damage.

umm, I don't mean to be a huge dick or anything, but I don't think you factored in the SpD boost that Charge gives. Ice Beam only does 13.5 damage, which can round to 14, and Psychic does 8, so that's only a total of 36, which Cyclohm survives as it should have 40 HP (Cyclohm gets to 10 HP difference it has from Duclohm upon evolution). I know I sound really stupid but I think you might have done something wrong :/

Anyway, go Scyther!

Ok Frogger, start off with a Hypnosis to put him to sleep and try to buy some time. Then hit him with a powerful Ice Beam, and then either Water Pulse if he is awake or Rain Dance if he is asleep!

Hypnosis - Ice Beam - Water Pulse/Rain Dance

(joking :p)

Fun game everyone. Fire Blast, as usual, you are amazing and get the job done perfectly. Despite a few calculation troubles, you still managed to pull through and did an amazing job ^_^

p3, you also did really well. I had the huge advantage in terms of typing so it wasn't really a matter of skill, just the Pokemon we chose. I also have evolved Pokemon. Nice job overall =)

thanks again. I'll claim by rewards now. Hope to see you guys in the future!
