Could you test HJK missing against a lvl100 crobat or something. Since HJK would have done a great deal of damage to all of those pokemon, it makes some sense that the recoil would be high.
Have a nice day.
A very likely possibility. In fact, it may just be that HJK's recoil is capped at 50% of the max HP.
If someone actually has managed to get an Eccentric Ditto with a special ability flag and tried it, sorry for bringing it into question. It just doesn't make sense that Ditto can't pass something down while playing the female, when it can pass down IVs and Natures like others.
Yeah, it was Kaphotics who found the Dream World ability flag, and shared his results via PM. This is what he had to say:
Kaphotics said:Kaphotics said:Not sure if I'm allowed to post this in the B/W Research because it may hint... (especially the picture at the end) [last time you modded me in the RNG research thread ;)]. Just running it by you because I didn't see anyone answer it in the thread.
I was looking into what makes the Pokemon have a dream world ability (for legality/legitimacy) and I figured it out. It's a hidden hex flag.
I just took a female Hihidaruma I caught, saw the new hidden hex flag, and threw that on 2 Smuglords (1 male 1 female) and changed their ability to the dream world one. Their offspring had around a 50% chance to inherit this flag (thus the Dream World ability).
When I just hax changed the ability (and no flag), the ability did not pass.
Both parents had to have this flag (and the ability) for it to have the 50% chance to pass down to the offspring. I don't know if it would have a different PID, but the fact that it has a flag that non dream world ability offspring don't have is pretty telling.

pretty much restated what I wrote here on ProjectPokemon

Here's the result of an ingame generated Smugleaf (only the parents were edited). Just as proof it does pass down the flag :)

In the thread I didn't see the female having it and male not at the time of PM.
Female Smugleaf (DW) + Regular Male Chickorita = 50% DW Smugleaf
It passed it down (Male Chickorita unflagged, Female Smugleaf Flagged), still ~~50% (just confirming again lol. I did have Sweet Scent on Chikorita, and it did give it to Smugleaf as an egg move!)
Ditto Tests:
Female Smugleaf (DW) + Regular Ditto = No DW offspring.
also
Male Smugleaf + Edited DW Ditto = No DW offspring
I did edit a ditto the same way to make it dream world eccentric so that it would pass down dream world abilities if possible, but I didn't get any dream world offspring after 10 eggs.
That leaves it as:
Female Species (flagged + DW ability) + Any In Egg Group (doesn't need DW ability/flag) [Not Ditto] = 50% Dream World Ability of Female Species.
The flag for having a Dream World Ability is @ 42h being 01 instead of 00.
For some nonrelated - RNG things:
I saw that the place (you mentioned in RNG Research) and 1 word before (Kazo's PRNG Start location) advance at a near constant rate with the CGear enabled, even if the overworld is paused (viewing pokemon, pokedex, etc0. When saving it changed once.
