Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
That's more reasonable, but I still can't wait for both of us to be proven wrong in 3 days and they pull up some random bullshit nobody expected anyway :smogonbird:
I'd also point that such kind of move distributions make a lot more sense when the gimmick is coming to main series games (where they get exposed to people during gameplay).
A simple example is the genies getting new signature moves in LA, and them having them in SV while being part of the first...
I still wish they'd do either some more legenday raids (expecially version exclusives, like they did for palkia/dialga), or the other hisuian mons.
We do have at minimum a year before the next game, I don't think they will want to leave the raid stagnating surely...
Well we already saw with Zygarde that they don't mind the idea of having moves that change on mega evolving, so those *are* a possibility.
Whenever those actually will come to main series / champions, that's a separate can of cookies.

Akshually
Megalucario has almost identical Atk and Spatk. It's used as physical attacker cause well, Close Combat, Extreme Speed and Bullet Punch exist compared to its much worse special moveset, but if it actually had good special moves it'd be perfectly capable of being a special...
I wasn't sure if putting this in this thread or the "things that annoy you" one.
I had this suggested to me from youtube
(note: mild ZA spoilers if you haven't played it)
I missed several of those easter eggs / details, and watching through them, I have a conflicted feeling of
- I'm happy...
There is a reason for which I (and others) always joke about "Pokemon players and trying to not find a pattern in everything Challenge (impossible)" after all.
In this case you're more right than you'd think, mainly because they admittedly said that they make (and remove) things as they feel...
For what's worth it, it's been a not-so-uncommon tech for SV raids.
Either to remove abilities from bosses / make the debuffing faster, or actually used on teammates to make them buff twice. It's a cool tech, expecially as Grumping is surprisingly tanky and well Latios is Latios.
Boi if this one ends up having Clear Body we're up for a ride.
My bet for moveset: mixed Dragon Darts / Shadow Ball / Flamethrower / X (could be Dragon Pulse or Tera Blast or just a random physical coverage)
I don't think we'll see Shadow Force, i'm quite sure it would play extremely weirdly...
losing Guts for arguably the best ability of the game on Hitmontop is a downgrade?
You may be underestimating how good Moxie is and how it's integral part of what makes Salamence good in singles (it uses Intimidate in doubles anyway)
What would thick fat do on a pokemon that *already* resists...
Also please I would recommend avoiding going onto the usual "wow GF is incompetent what are they thinking" rant on something that's not even a thing and just a speculation from a random player.
I'll point one note in which you may be missing out on.
We're approaching the timeframe where almost all of the of the intended casual buyerbase (aka, kids and teenagers, not 30+ year old adults with nostalgia glasses) have had their first experiences of the game with the Switch. I'm speaking...
